Has anyone tried the 225grn head? And what is your take on them?

They are the best single bevel heads out there imo

Very good heads that are accurate and tuff as nails.  I tested them on cow scapulas and cow pelvic bones and was astonished with the results.

Outstanding broadhead with a lot of r/d behind them.

I bought 3, but used a different setup last year (With 160grain heads) They are nesr perfect that is for sure. If they had a 160 it would have been on my setup last year.

I think Tuffheads are about as good as it gets for a broadhead. I've killed 2 deer and a boar with the 225gr Tuffheads and a 45# longbow. I got complete penetration on all three animals, even after hitting a shoulder blade on one buck, and through both shoulders on the boar.

They come sharp, and stay sharp longer than any head I've used. And they don't rust! The taper and grind is excellent, and they mount and spin perfectly on my wood shafts.

As L8TOHUNT said, there is no better 2 blade head on the market. Stainless knife steel and the ferule extends almost to the point making one heck of a strong head. They come all ready sharpened and ready to hunt with. I will be using them again in about 3 weeks on my elk hunt.
