I tromped on a Woodsman Elite while barefooted. :banghead: Pics show the results. (Graphic)

ouch. my buddy leaned on a thunderhead with his elbow one time and did that
Looks like that must have been a Ron at KME sharpened woodsman elite. Looks like he did a good job!
OUCH X2! :scared: I bet you hardly felt it cut you until you saw the blood.
I do believe I just cryed a lil for you and my feet hurt now just seeing that ouch bud be safe
sorry man! that is one sensitive part of the body to be hurting.
I am definitely paying the "stupid tax" this week. Just gotta' heal by 1 Sept when Northern VA Archery Season opens! :knothead:
dang, i have a son now and am starting to see things around that i have never noticed not having kids around. this makes me think again how careful i will need to be with the hunting stuff i have laying around. hope all heals well for ya. looked very deep.
Ouch I hope that heals up for you before hunting season
:scared: :scared: :scared:  :help: ouch
Ouch!
That smarts :banghead:
Are the woodsman elites hunting sharp out of the box? And how do they match up against vpa's?
Ouch! Heal fast that looks like an annoying place to be cut!
Well at least it's not hunting season (not missing any deer time in the woods)
LBshooter2---The Woodsman Elites are sharp, but not SHARP out of the box. That is, they recommend additional sharpening prior to hunting. In this case, I had actually not even sharpened this one yet!
I can only image hat damage I would have done if truly sharpened.
And to everyone else, Yes . . . "Ouch!" :knothead:

Ugh. I almost did that once when I was a kid. I just so happened to look down when I stepped saw it and jumped off my opposite foot. I got lucky. I barely touched it. I always think of that for some reason 30 yrs later.
Heal up fast!
How far did you go and did you leave a good blood trail? Can you step on a four blade with your other foot so we can make a comaparison? Okay, okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry...I couldn't resist. Looks like something I would've done. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Dang Kingsnake!!!!..... :scared:
I'm pretty sure I personally sharpened that BHD myself and I know it was shaving hair before it went into the pack. The edge may have degraded slightly but man...now I almost feel guilty. Very sorry buddy. I hope it heals up fast for you.
Ron
Thanks for all the get-well thoughts and the much-deserved ribbing. I got out back and slung a few arrows this evening, but I wasn't quite in the zone to feel good about it. I can probably get my shooting in shape between now and Sept 1, but I am concerned about my cardio and my hiking ability. We shall see!
Oh, and Ron . . .the only reason I said the broadhead wasn't hunting sharp is because the info on the pack said I should add a little extra edge. My foot and I thought it as PLENTY sharp. ;)
