Here is yet another question for ya'll!
What's your favorite broadhead?
THX
LURP DOG
A sharp one. :biglaugh:
I've only killed two deer with trad gear so far, and both were two blade heads. Magnus and Bear.
Will use 3-blade snuffers and WW this season.
To combine two of the posts above, I will say the ones I can get very very sharp will always be my favorites.
Those currently are: Woodsman, Snuffer, green Bear razor heads, and Zwicky two-blades.
Zwickey Delta 2 blade
I've tried others, but I always seem to come back to these. Not too expensive, easy to get sharp, and I've had some short blood trails as proof that they work.

single bevel Hills
i like a lot of them..... zwickey, old razorheads, ace.... but my all time favorite and the one that's put most of my critters in the dirt is the magnus II, 125gr.
Simmons Treeshark= lots of dead animals, of fur or feather
Simmons shark 190 grain they make a great hole. And easy to sharpen
Zwickey Delta 2 bld
VPA 3 bld are coming on strong though.
Rob
Hard to beat what Pavan is using. There has never been a better flying broadhead.
Zwickey Dalta 2 blade a good strong head and the price is right.
George
I like Simmons Interceptors and Tiger Sharks. Got some Tree Sharks should be here in a couple days and will try them.
Ace Super Express two-blades in either 175 or 200 grains. They are easy to sharpen and make a big hole.
Silver Flame 180 grain XL or 175 grain VPA 3 blade for me.
Had a good result with VPA Terminators last season, a very strong head. This season I'm going with Zwickey eskimos with 75 gr insert to bump the weight for my lower poundage bow and I'm giving the tree sharks a try with my heavier one - they look devastating.....
Magnus II 2 blade.
I'm partial to VPA's.
Abowyer brown bear.
Right now it is grizzlie for elk, old bear razorheads and eclipse with bear bleeders for deer.
Simmons tigershark. Just got some glued on for antelope!
VPA/Woodsman Elite
Good Sharp Zwickey Eskimo! Then a Woodsman!
My 200 grain two blade Muzzy Phantoms.
ACE Standard.
Im going to say Simmons TreeShark......
,,Sam,,
3 blade 175 VPAs or snuffers 160s
Zwickey Eskilite. Not too heavy and i can screw them into any cheap arrow shaft.
Big fan of simple broadheads after destroying blade inserts and mechanicals for the last decade.
Simmons Land Shark
STOS 160 gr. Easy to get scary sharp and they fly as good as my fieldpoints.

zwickey deltas 2 blade
Ace Super Express...NOT life size

Simmons TreeShark
VPA's without a doubt..
I like the simmons treesharks i have now, but i've got some vpa terminators shipping monday. For a lighter broadhead, i like magnus 4 blade stingers
Snuffers!
Outback Single bevel Supremes.
Fly like darts, very strong, easy to get razor sharp and not expensive.
That's the killer combo for me.

190 grain Ribteks.
Jeff
I also really like Ace broadheads. Once you get the edge established, they can get shaving sharp pretty easily with just a small file. My favorite broadheads are all scary sharp ones that are affordable - I don't mind the work and time it takes to get them sharp with a file.
125 gr, Woodsman
STOS, but want to try one of the Simmons heads.
VPA's
One guess...

STOS 160's and Snuffer 160'S.
Zwickeys of any flavor have always been my favs., but this yr im gonna try the Hills. Hard to argue the success of a head thats taken as much game as a Hill. Ive been shooting them a bit and the flight and ease of tuning is as good as it gets.
Zwickey

Right now it's Bear Razorheads. I never knew how well the fly and what a wicked edge they hold.
Past favorite heads have been ACE 160's, Snuffer 160's, Phantom 200's, Woodmans and Magnus II's.
Magnus, Zwickey and WW. All easy to sharpen and keep sharp in the field.
Grizzlies for 2 blades and VPA Terminators for 3 blades.
125 gr. Magnus II's or Snuffers.
magnus 1, 4 blade, all kme sharpened to a mirror finish.
trying the new grizzly 160s with the kme grind this season (at least on my next hog hunt). These things are soooo freaking sharp you woudln't believe it.
160 snuffers.........for about 20 yrs now. If it aint broke, dont fix it.........

This...exactly.
ace standard 160.
Zwickey Eskimo 4-blade and Woodsman. If I had to pick only one.....Zwickey!
Magnus and Zwickie, weight depends on which bow I'm using.
Using VPA 250 gr. 3 blades now with great results. Can't go wrong with a 160 gr. Snuffer either. Mike
160 Snuffers, 20 plus years and have never let me down why change :dunno: Tried smaller snuffers and 2 blade heads just not the same blood trail.
