Congratulations to our fellow TG brother Todd Hathaway on his awesome shooting to win the Eagle Eye shoot-out at Denton Hill Saturday evening!!!! Todd beat 31 exceptional shooters from all over the country in a "miss once and you're out" competition! The shoot went at least 4 rounds this year and in the last round they even made the bulls-eye smaller (2 inches).
Great shooting Todd!!!!  :clapper:

BTW, shooters are restricted to wood shafts for the competition and for the last 2 years the winners' shafts have been made by TG sponsor Dwayne Delong at Dink's Feather Shop.
Ron
great shooting congrats
Well done....Todd is an excellent shot! Every time I'm at a meet and he is there he's at or near the top of the shoot!
What distance do they shoot?
I know it's far enough to seperate the men from the boys.
 :notworthy:

Man, that guy can shoot! Congrats Todd :clapper: :clapper:
Good for you Todd. Even though I did not see it, heard the play by play since it was my turn to make dinner and man what a great job.
Thanks so much guys! Appreciate the post and the kind words.
I also have to mention that my sister won it 2 years ago...still proud of her for that!
Awesome shooting, Congrats!!! J
Well done Todd!

Congrats! Nice to see it's becoming a family tradition!
I've seen Todd shoot at Tollgate Archery in the past he's a great shot! Congrats!
Congratulations Todd! I wish I had seen it but had to go into town.
I shot with Todd at the muzzy shoot 2 years ago. This man can shoot, and yes,he did beat me.Congratulations
Congratulations Todd. :archer2: I didn't stay around long enough to get to know you but I enjoyed watching you win it with some great shooting. For the record there were at least two former winners and one of them had won it twice. It was a pretty good field. Hat's off to you.

congrads Todd!
Congratulations Todd!!!
Thanks, guys.
The distance to qualify is about 20 yards, but you can shoot as many arrows as you want to pay for ($2 per arrow). In the actual shoot-off, the distance is maybe 15 yards and the dot gets bigger, like maybe 3 inches? This is the first year I've ever seen them change the dot to a smaller size in the shoot-out. Glad the mojo was working.
Great shooting to you and your sister.
Todd, that was great shooting but that dot couldn't have been 3". I was guessing it to be 2 - 2.5". I did a little calculating to determine that if it had been about a 6" dot then I would have gotten past that first round..., and so would a lot of others. Guess that there are lots of us big dot shooters around. :archer2:
Congrats buddy! See ya in a few days :archer2:
Congrats
I watched him win

Congratulations and good shooting Todd! I was also the finals and was about an inch high on my first shot. Really enjoyed myself and look forward to ETAR 2013. Again, Congratulations!
