I am planning to purchase a tree stand and would like to get your opinion on these two brand. Lone Wolf Alpha and Millenium M100. I will be hunting in South Florida on WMA so I can't leave my stand overnight. I am looking for comfort and ease of carrying to my hunting spot. I'm 6'4" and weigh 290lbs.
I can only comment on the Alpha which I use the sticks with. Works well, seat is OK, not great if you don't like a hard seat. Three sticks don't get you that high, maybe 14' max unless you really stretch them which can cause mishaps, I picked up a forth to make it easier and carry it out every time I use it. It is easy to carry, you somehow need to attach a backpack to it while carrying it, saw a photo once of a guy who did it and it would be a good idea.
I have both a like both for different reasons, if you have pretty straight trees take the lone wolf sticks 4 of them and use the millenium, for your size the millenium would be night and day difference for comfort. On the other hand if you have a bunch of scragly gnarly trees like I hunt in up north the lone wolf is the only choice.

Why can't you use the Millenium on gnarly trees? Are some stands are design better for straight trees? This will be my first time using a tree stand so I am trying to buy the right one.
At your height, you can get plenty high with 3 sticks and the Lone Wolf stand. I'm only 6'2" and can get above 15 ft pretty easy. The weight difference is worth buying the Lone Wolf. It's my favorite stand when I have to hike in very deep.
I know you ask about the Lone Wolf and millennium, but at your size you might take a look at the Chippewa stands and sticks. They are Strong, light, easy to use and they make larger models that are still pretty light. The only down side is the price, but if I were a big guy the Chippewa or Screaming eagle would be two I would choose.

Lone wolf all the way! This stand will go in any tree! The leveling of the platform and seat are way worth the money in my eyes!

The reason I said gnarly trees is because the lone wolf is adjustable top and botton the seat and platform both adjustup and down the m100 needs a descently straight tree to hang in, also the weight is not an issue they both weight the exact same 14lbs, and the millenium offers a seat that is twice the size.
Have you guys know anything about the Chippewa stands?
m100 is the best stand! so comfortable. i wish i had 20 of these
I have lonewolfs but for a hang on nothing beats these

I had and alpha, found it to be uncomfortable, a buddy has and swears by the millenium 100.
I use Lone Wolfs for several reasons. They are quiet, adjust to crooked trees and have seats at a comfortable height.
I have Chippewa stands too and prefer the Lone Wolf to them. The lone Wolf feels more stable to me and has a bigger platform.
Neither has real comfortable seats.
