Hello I was wondering if anyone has any advice here? I am thinking of shooting the Simmons Tiger or Tree Shark this year for deer. I am shooting a 46 pound bow a 29 inch 2018 with 175-200 grains up front. I was just a little concerned due to the size of the head but these things look DEADLY!!!! I also was curious how they are to sharpen. THANKS FOR THE INFO!!!!!
I just switched to the tigersharks. I shoot 45@29
Haven't shot a deer with one yet, but from the testing i've done around the house, i don't foresee any issues. They are easy to get sharp and fly great
They have excellent penetration and you will get excellent blood trails - the wider profile will not hurt you. We have lots of friends shooting 45 & 49 lbs too.
I feel that would be a fine choice with your set up.
When RC gets out the swamp he'll probably post plenty of pictures that will give you the info you want.
I have shot several deer with the Tigersharks about 4 with a 42# hummingbird Longbow complete penetration. I will be shooting the treeshark more this year but with more poundage.LH
THANKS!!!
I also was curious as to why the glue ons are like 40.00 for 6 and the screw ins are 70.00 for 6
I think it is because it cost more to get the ferrules made.LCH
They can be a bit tricky to sharpen but will make a hole that you will have to see to believe.
I shoot the tree shark glue ons and screw ins. No problem getting sharp or shooting. 46# @ 28" longbow

Looks like 3 Rivers pricing. Do yourself a favor and buy them direct from Simmons. They're a good bit cheaper.
