This has been a bad day. I ordered a new bamboo backed hickory reflex/deflex a while back and got it in the mail today. Man she is a beauty......or was a beauty I should say. I strung it and took it down to the range to shoot this afternoon. On the first draw I heard a crack and instantly let the bow back down without firing it. A crack in the bamboo and wrinkling on the hickory on the back side!! Man I am sick. Didnt even get off a shot. Can this be repaired or do I need to send it back? OOOOh boy....

She's a goner. Sorry.
Looks like a return.
Return to sender.
I feel for ya. Very disappointing. Definately send it back.
wow, that hurts, by the looks of it from the pictures it was sent that way, chrysalls look like it was stained with them already being there.
Yessir that's what I was thinking too. Now to send it back and wait some more. Ugh....
Yep your gonna have to send it back.
That is horrible. :(
Man, I know just how you feel. I bought a bamboo backed Ipe bow that i was beginning to fall in love with. I took it to the Oklahoma State longbow Championship a couple weeks ago and it came to pieces on the practice range. I was devastated.
Send it back and get another.
Good luck with it.
