Hey gang.
I'm looking for some bright greenish/yellow feathers.
Looking for something almost like the monster energy color.
Most chartreuse I see is pretty yellow.
Might be able to describe the color as fluorescent green.
Anyone know who makes anything like this?
Thanks
sorta like this if our monitors are similar...

I think the AMG lime comes the closest to what you're looking for
Agreed. Look for flo lime.
FLYDYE, East Providence RI has a color called chartreuse that matches almost perfect. 401-434-3300
AMG lime here a pic

Greenest I would say are Gateway. Brightest, lighter green, AMG. With AMG pink you will never lose an arrow! AMG have super bright colors.
AMG flo lime....

Thanks guys.
Anyone see the bearpaw flour. green in person?

Almost looks just crayola "sea green" in this pick.
Thanks
I went to the Bearpaw (in German) website
https://217.24.55.74/GSWeb/WebShop.woa/4/wo
I don't read German, but the feathers cut to shape appear to be a different color than the full length. Kustom King has some cut to shape feathers.
What doe's AMG mean, and where can I find them. thanks Burt
I think a few Sponsors here sell AMG. (Allied Mfg)
Not the best pic, but these cock feathers are lime green Gateways with chart hens. Pretty bright.

Thanks for the nice pics.
Some nice bright feathers shown here.
Boy ...I don't know which to pick.
Great looking dyes there Elk nailer ! thank you!
I might just have to get some FL green bear paws in FL ( you're right the cut feathers look more yellow) just to see for myself.
I'll let you know what I think of em.
AMG Flo Green!

Sometimes pictures don't always reflect the true colors, especially if taken out doors or poor lighting. The AMG Flo Green is just that...Flo Green, not yellow looking at all.
Suggest you buy some AMG from a Sponsor here and a few from Bear Paw. This way you can compare colors and quality of the feathers.
I'll be giving those a look too.
It is hard to get a good representation of colors on the monitor....especially these type colors.
Thanks Joe.
I now have some amg lime and bearpaw fl green ( both full length) on order.
I'll let you know what I think about them.
Thanks guys
AMG Lime will be your best bet -- I think you'll be very pleased with how close they are to that color!
Got the AMG lime and the bearpaw flor green in the mail today.
Both in full length feathers.
I'll try to get some pics on later.
Pro and cons...
Bearpaw pros :
1.GREAT bases every bit as good if not better than trueflight. Really easy to lay down on carbons.
2. The color is a touch more green.
3. The color isn't as bright as the AMG
Bearpaw cons:
1. Shorter feathers than the amg. maybe an inch or so shorter than the average trueflight.
2. the barbs are slightly thinner.
3. The color isn't as bright as the AMG (not a typo)
AMG pros:
1. long feathers..the longest I've ever had.
2. Good color, would've been happy with them if I didn't have the bearpaws right beside them.
3. Thicker barbs..kinda like trueflight used to be.
4. Very bright color
AMG cons:
1. Crappy base grinds. Thick and or wide. Not uniform from one feather to another OR even on the same feather. Some bases were easily 2X as thick AND 2x as wide as trueflight. There were quite a few that I could not get to lay nice on my carbons on dry run tests.
2. Very bright color
AMG were bigger feathers in every way.
They were also taller so that might be a bonus for those wanting to make flu flu's.
I'll be getting more bearpaws for this color.
I'll be hard pressed not to buy them from now on if they have a color I'm looking for.
Thank you for all the help and recommendations guys!

Here is a pic.
This is a single picture with all 4 feathers being photographed at the same time.
The background is a regular 8.5x11 sheet of paper
You can see the color difference.
By far the biggest difference between this relatively small sample I have is the bases. These AMG bases are very sloppy compared to the bearpaw.
The bearpaw bases are NICE.

Is that just a sharpie marker that you used to color the feathers with?
It's a mix I made.
I make Beechem layout fluids for machinists.
So I made up a modified mix..little more dye..and thinned it out a bit.
Doesn't stink like a marker either.
I just paint it on with a tiny artist's brush.
It's thin enough that it runs a bit up and down the barbs..kinda gives it a neat look...if I do it right.
Those above were just me trying out a different pattern.
I normally do one like this....

Seems to work pretty good.
Stays on very well.
But...it doesn't like to go onto the underside of the feather very well.
These are a four fletch mix of flo lime and chartreuse....with flo lime and chartreuse zebra wraps...

All flow lime fletch with reflective white cheetah wraps....with flash on camera...

Same as above in a low lit room with no flash...

Jeez..
You could use those as driveway markers...lol
Cool pics!
Hi Zradix just curious, what cut are those feathers?
They're the T-hawk cut on a little chopper.
I chop them a little shorter than "stock" by using a tapered stop at the base of the jig.
