And the great oak, guys have taken gallon ziplocks of acorns home to plant, I have 3 trees from it in my yard!!
The cabin is bigger than it looks, the oak just dwarfs it!

looks awesome!
Really nice place........it even looks thick in the pics........
Congrats bro
Looks like a beautiful parcel Kenny. You shouldn't have too much trouble getting the spots filled.
I hunted up there with Kenny two seasons ago and stayed in that cabin. Good hunt, good accomodations and a great guy!
Darren
A beautiful place for sure!
This one is a sleeper guys! I'll be there in October.
Just when we were starting to get it figured out Kenny adds another piece to the puzzle.
Hey!! Who said he could put up a rail fence?
;)
Yeah Charlie....I'm already sittin on ready!!!
Now Charlie, Terry, Tracy you guys stay out of that new part. I'll be there after gun season to scout it out for you. :bigsmyl:
My son-in-law and I killed a deer a piece on the south 200 but both missed multiple opportunities on the north 200 last year. I cannot wait to be there again! Kenny, YOU THE MAN!
Looks good! I'm ready to get there again :bigsmyl: :archer:
Come on October!
Tracy
Good deal Kenny. For a minute there, I thought you had bought up the rest of the county.
Looks like a great place, good prices too! Good luck all!
Terry, Tracy and Kenny... I'm more than ready. Cooler temps, good friends, a stout bow and deer ready and willing. All we need now is a Mexican cook.
:D
2 years ago, a big 8 point came outta the south end of it and was mmmmmmissed by a first time trad hunter! He was EXCITED, and a little bummed....
I gotta get in there some day when its raining a little and look about a bit. I'm thinkin it will be a good place to make a short hunt next to the road where the interstate deer trail comes out headed to the tree farm!! :goldtooth:
Charlie, I hope you find that cook. You might ask Kenny if he can cook. I know he can eat.
I hear tell you had to show em all how to kill a deer last year. Make sure you take your file to sharpen up ole Terry's broadheads.
Kenny, did any of the crops make anything this year with the drought?
Poncho polak, here and i can cook beans, tortillas and make some strong alcohol adult beverages for some whitetail action
Things were lookin pretty bad, the corn is toast I think, but we had 4.1 " a couple weeks ago, and a couple .3" rains, then last nite a .6" rain, so I expect the beans to go ahead and grow some more. :bigsmyl: :bigsmyl:
Here's another pick of that big old White oak!

Sure looking forward to hunting up there again with you guys. :scared:
I think we picked a couple good places, I will check mine on the way home tonight and send you some picks.
Tracy
Super Tracy!!! Gettin a break from this weather and finally gettin away from the AC. I don't have any cameras out yet, but look forward to what pics you send.
I really want to get up to Linneus before season and put out a pop up blind but we'll have to wait and see if I get that done.
Hey Charlie,
Which side of the main ditch did you think those deer were coming on up by your pond stand? Gonna move a cam up that way. Got a couple bucks pics on the south end of the ditch... :D

This looks like a great deal. I like the pricing and cabin option. Organized reasonable approach.
Good job Kenny if I wasn't booked I would defnately consider this. Appreciate the effort to develop a trad only lease. Best of luck.
<><
<------------<<<<<<<
Thanks Cory, I just thought it would be more fair to all trad hunters if they didn't have to compete with c-bows and gun hunters.
I just wish I had a couple thousand acres leased, much easier to keep deer on it!! LOL
Tracy, good pics. Did you guys have lots of acorns falling on that tin roof on the porch? We sure did. This hunt is all I've thought about all day. Hard to keep my mind on work.
Kenny, I got me an idea bout those deer heading to and from that tree farm.
Wait til I get the next round uploaded, you'll be thinkin more!!
OK, here we go, we'll start with some freezer trophy....

By the way, the 4 point rule is out the window, so these are all legal...

If ya'all talk nice, I'll post the other 2 pics I have.... :bigsmyl:
That's the kind of place I'd like to call home someday. I'll buy a lottery ticket tomorrow. Good luck to yall.
David the acorns falling on the roof never stopped the whole time we were there. Awesome tree!
Kenny, :bigsmyl:
Tracy
OK , no nibbles? You guys are hard sells!
Here are the others...
This one is my fave, may be the big 9 from last year...
As my desktop pic, that sticker on the G2 looks like it comes out and curves down, COOL
Sure looks like it Kenny, cool buck! :goldtooth:
He will look great hanging in my shop!
Tracy
Kenny... looks like we've got some real contenders around! Those deer coming to the pond were coming from the road side of the ditch.
Tracy, I hope somebody gets him, but hes not in your fave area!! :D
Good deal, Charlie, got a cam that ain't gettin what I want, so may move it up there somewhere.
Oh, its not the big 9 from last year, don't think!
Oh yeah I remember the thread from your guy's last hunt. Sounds like a heck-of-a good time and great hunt. Beautiful pics. Didnt Charlie shoot that doe next to a pond? If I remember.
Wish I was in a position to take you up on a hunt Kenny.
Tracy....that buck deserves a spot INSIDE the house. :D
Wish you could Randy, would love to meet ya, and shoot your bow too! :campfire:
Hey hunter guys, got more contenders for ya!! :bigsmyl:
