While at the local 3D shoot Saturday morning a couple of interesting events happened. The first was one of the guys in our group pulled back his 67 Bear recurve to have it explode in his face. That was an unfortunate loss for Mike. Thankfully, he was not harmed.
Then, a few minutes later the fellas who make the Stiktamers came around looking for recurve shooters to demo their wares. I jumped on that opportunity and we installed them straight away.

The difference in bow/string noise was instantly improved.
The added bonus' in using using these self adhesive assessory is that they double for a bow hanger, thriple for a brush nock and, fourthly, work well as a string holder.

Well thought out attachment.

Very cool. Could you tell if they affected performance much or at all?
-
Did that attachment cause your arrow to act stiffer? Most string stops would, please let us know

Randy M, they are so light that they really don't induce mass near the tips. They call the material a hybrid foam. I couldn't tell any difference in arrow spead.
rraming, the arrows still flew to the same point of impact still as smooth and straight as moments before I installed them.

I used them on a Quinn Stallion. I think they are awesome for working limb recurves.

kurtbel5,
I wish I had taken pictures of it but didn't think about that until after the shoot. As for the model I am not that familar enough with Bears to know but it had green fb lams. It looked like a used but well treated bow. Mike had been shooting it for nearly a couple hours with no issues and BAM it just snapped. It was a real shame for him.
