The wifey left yesterday to go back to PA for a wedding. I get to do all the things she doesn't like...or not let me LOL. Have to start out with a case of Shiner, trip to Academy, planning on cooking venison sausage and stir fry w/ lots of onions & garlic. My daughter is down for her nap so I got to shoot longwise in my backyard (god I needed to shoot farther than 15!). Next got my 15' A frame ladder out and some "tree stand" practice. Already 100 so practice was quick but hoping to repeat tomorrow. Oh also I got an invite for Cabelas employee discount weekend so now plans for tomorrow :)
It's the little things in life
Sounds like fun times. Except, mine left this morning and I went out for a new truck. Basspro road trip for me tomorrow. :)
I got out to the ranch early to break down beaver dams in the irrigation dithces. Sighted in my son's rifle. Caught a big gopher snake and raced a weasel down a ditch, a cute little thing. Then the archery shop to shoot and teach. Tomorrow more longbow shooting and get all my projects staged so i have plenty to do after surgery onTuesday. My wife lets me roam all over, but our kids are all grown now.
All I can say is, LUCKY, LUCKY ,LUCKY,and I'm JEALOUS. :notworthy:
She doesn't read this, does she ? :scared:
Lucky guy...........
My wife was in Fla on vacation for 10 days and I was so busy with the garden I didn't even have time to visit the dancing girls.
Yes sir. When the wife's away it's time to play. Can't even remember the last time I visited the dancing girls. Must be getting old.
i must be old too, i'd rather go to BassPro than the dancing girls.
You know when you are getting old when you would rather look at a dinner menu than a 'girlie' magazine. Lol
LOL I hear you I'll rather spend $ at Cabelas an blow it at the dancing girls and no she won't read is. I did think of pics of the ladder to my dad & uncle but that's just evidence :) . A good weekend wi my daughter as well
Oh forgot the best part!!! Of course she spending money since they visited the shore too. She asked if she could get a purse and I said yes if I can get the Boss Buck deer feeder I've been eyeing up, gues I know what I'm doing next weekend :)

Buying a purse? LOL ;) I live with 4 women, 3 teens, I'm outside slinging arrows every chance I get..... just for some peace and quiet.
Yeah purse request made me laugh too. Love to get quiet time but my 3 year old daughter is at the age she's attached to your hip
