my wy elk tag!!   i know to a lot of guys thats no big deal, but at the rate i draw tags, seeing one in my hand is something special.  

were almost there guys!

not too many wolves where i hunt.. yet.  hopefully these new wolf seasons can help us get them under control.

I was up scouting my area this week, and came home to my elk tag waiting in my mailbox.
If wolves wanted an easy dinner where I was, they could have had a ball with all the domestic sheep that were summering there. Unfortunately, the sheep had moved the elk, so I didn't see any wapiti, but that will change by September (I hope).
