We will be hunting Aug 10-12, arriving on the 9th
It's getting close isn't it. I'm at a wedding reception and all I can think about is rank, muddy pigs. It sure would be a treat to see you Sugar Ray Hammond.
That's some good shooting bud, a hair further forward and we wont be trailing them very far.
Ahhhhhh.... THE Bacon Strip!
Thanks for supporting the kids!
Keep the wind in your face!
Shoot straight, Shinken
:archer2:

Lol, when I did center punch the shoulder on that target, I buried my arrows in the plastic that holds the shoulder toghter. I lost 3 inserts doing that, sobi moved back. If buck fever doesn't rear it's ugly head, you betcha I will tuck it in, not worried about loosing an insert on a pig :D
In my non expert opinion, I think you still might get some lung with that placement. I've been keeping to my year round routine of 10 to 20 shots a day in my basement and Im feeling good. Been pretty busy to get in much stumping or 3d but Im ready.

I was going to buy a 3d hog target but I figured that if I know where the placement is on a hog ( I studied Terry's shot placement thread) that I will be good to go. It's way different to where I am used to shooting a whitetail though. I shoot maybey 20/30 a day just to keep the ol computer still working right ;)
I just bought a new camera and will be bringing it along. I've settled on "Shakira", my 47# Griffin as my hog slayer. I have 3 different arrow combos that are flying like bullets so that is a yet unresolved matter. Just have to treat my clothes with permanone and Im good to go. Dont forget your headlamps, it gets dark early under those ancient trees. (http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o244/2crazyboys_photos/DSCN2344.jpg) Do
I got some of the permanone and will treat mine just before I go. I will be using my 61# widow, with a 750 grain CX 350 tipped with a KME sharpened Zwickey Delta :goldtooth:
You guys are going to have a blast!
Lots of fun and maybe a little luck! :bigsmyl: :archer:
I'll plan on seeing you then! I'll bring squirrel bait too!
Dang, this sounds like a social meetin' on the Savannah! I wish I was at the farm in Aiken to join in...at least for Ray's dinner :) Good Luck guys...tippit
Terry , please text me your phone #, Ive lost all of my phone data. Thanks.
