I'm itchin to get out and try this bow on something other than targets! Anyone know where hogs can be found on public land in OK? I'm in the Tulsa area so somewhere close, or in the middle of the state would be best. I hear they can be found down south but would like to find somewhere I can get to a little more often! Any help is very much appreciated!
Would be up for any other suggestions as well!!!
Thanks!
For free public land look around Lake Eufaula.
If you want to pay to hunt then check out Stuart Ranch Outfitters.
Look at Pennington creek hunting club in Ardmore. They do a summer special price. I'm going labor day and can't wait!! They have quite a few hogs if your not set on public land.

Considering it's 108 here today I would not get too far from water wherever you hunt.
I'm thinking early mornings around sun up. See what I can find before the real heat sets in. Figure the hogs will be staying where it's cool and where there is water as well!
Thanks for everything so far.
I lived in Oklahome for 8 years. My family - both sides - were born and raised there.
From my experience, the local pub was the best way to find them.

Find a watering hole or creek that you can cruise up and down.
:dunno: Good luck.
Thanks for the help guys. I'm determined to get out this weekend or next!

Find some public land along the Deep Fork River where there's still water.
