Well I'm no where near the bowyer I think I am, lol but I did have a blast finishing up this Bamboo backed bow blank from Mike Yancey at Pine Hollow Longbows. And gents this bow shoots as well as any longbow I have, they should call them Natural Shooters. Seriously a blast and easy to do, I can't wait to start another one. I learned so much doing this one, the next one is going to be better. And I have no doubt I am going to hunt with this bow this year, it shoots that well, no string silencers needed. Heck I don't see why I would buy another finished bow. For the money this is a keeper.
Sorry about the pics but I was in a rush.

Bill just don't take me too serious about not buying another bow, I always take a peek at your site
Is that a tennis grip wrap on the handle? Looks comfy!
Yes I did use the Tennis grip, I find it cushions the hand and I use a softer grip, helps keep the tension off the bow hand.
:biglaugh: The more you look the more your tempted. :biglaugh:
There is just something VERY cool about an all natureal bow.
Bill
Oh I'll be tempted all right when you come up with a one piece sxt, dang it, I'm drooling already. I can see it now a 50's style recurve with Zipper flair !!!
Maybe one day. When I do, I'll send you one to see if it gets your stamp of approval.
Sorry Peter, I did not mean to interrupt your all natural thread.
Not at all Bill, always a pleasure to chat with you !!! And thanks for keeping me in mind.
