By the DiStefano definition the mild R/D bow braces to "D".  That being said, I would put the Mohawk Sparrowhawk on the list of candidates.  Far more great bowyers in this thread than I have dead presidents unfortunately.

St. Joe River longbow.

It has the D profile when strung, with a reverse riser... very quiet, stable, accurate and pretty dang quick, with no hand shock.

66" Great Northern Critter Gitter with bamboo. The GN's are the standard I measure how a bow should shoot now  :)

I am getting ready to order a lil' creep now w/ jackknife.

I also like the look of a Maddog longbow, because its basically just like a Longhunter with a little more R/D

I shot "a lot" of these mild r/d bows. By far the best has been the Northern Mist Superior.

So, I wanted to throw in my Bamboo backed hickory longbow with a cocobolo handle by a fellow name Eric Todd.  It has been a great bow, with well over 10,000 shots through it I would imagine.  He's turned out to be quite the friend, and a superb craftsman/bowyer.

Tops Eric!

I like the Mohawks also. (a blast from the past) I thought the Howatt/Martin ML-18 Bushmaster was a good solid bow.

Ron Kings Royal Crown. Shoots where you point it, and absolutely  no hand shock. One of the finest bows i have ever held in my hands.

Some of the bows mentioned in earlier posts I'd put in the moderate rather than mild R/D category.  For mild R/D bows I'd rate Abbott and Green Mountain (the latter no longer made) as two excellent mild R/D designs.

Hill-style and mild R/D longbows have become my favorites over the years and are hard to beat for their classic looks and quietness.

My favorite mild d/r longbow is the one a friend of mine made for me. It shoots good and has the looks to go along with it. My Tomahawk Legacy series would be number one for a mild d/r but it does have a little flat spot near the tips.

I should amend my first response...

Yes, I love my Dwyer Original, but I'm also falling for my Great Northern Bushbow.

Oh, and I GOTTA get me a Liberty Contender.

I would have to vote Great Northern bushbow but now I'm not to sure. Just came in from testing my newly acquired Green Mountain and now I might be sitting on the fence.
Both are sweet shooters for sure.
