Check out these great looking stands at www.twistedtimbertreestands.com/home2012.html (http://www.twistedtimbertreestands.com/home2012.html) I will be stopping in Minnistota on my way out to Denton Hill to pick up some of these stands. If you would like to prepay for stands that you would like you can save shipping and an extra 10%. So any orders placed befor July 22nd with me treestands will be $179.99. I am very excited to get these new stands it has been a big frustration in my area most of the cotton woods grow out at angles. It has been difficult to say the least setting stands. I feel this will be the ticket. Let me know if your intrested.
Thanks Scott
Scott,
Not sure if you seen the thread I started on these stands about a week or so ago ? I am wanting to try one BAD ! Not going to Denton Hill.... :banghead:
I did see it thats why I am going to get some. I think they will be a great tool to have!
I should have one of these stands in my hands this week I will post some pics when it get here.
The UPS guy just dropped of a box with a Twisted Timber Treestand in it. I will take some pics and tell you what I think.
Well I could not wait to get it out of the box. Just a little assembly to put on the seat.

Then to try it on my crooked leaning cottonwood tree in the back yard. It comes with 3 ratchet straps. The first one up is the hook to hang the treestand on to level it.

After hanging it on the hook and level the stand the second strap goes on the bottom. There are holes all the way across to hook the strap in to. Once the bottom is ratched down you then put the 3rd strap on top so it wont come off the hook. You can then level the seat and adjust he platform up and down.

All in all this is a very well made stand. It has a very nice seat at a good hight. The platform is very generous in size and seems to be very quite. It is not very hard to get up and once set is not going to move. I had to be very carefull with my other stands with the bottoms wanting to kick out on les than perfect trees. For a steel stand it really is not all that heavy. I will be glad to have these for this fall.
Nice looking stand.
Looks like a nice stand with a lot of adjustment built in for goofy trees, maybe the most versatel stand I've seen. Price isn't bad either, when you compare to other high quality stands. Looks like a winner
