Title: VPA Penetrator 2 blade
Post by: Formby on July 16, 2012, 11:28:00 AM
has anyone used these broadheads. How is the flight on them? and is any penetration lost from the tanto style point?

I used them last year, and liked them a lot.  Easy to sharpen with a KME broadhead system, and they flew great for me.  I shoot fairly light bows and I had no problems killing a deer and a hog with them last year

Have not put one into a critter yet but they will be in my quiver this fall. Like said above, very easy to sharpen with a KME.

Don't think you will have any problems with penetration. Lots of pass thru's on big Austrailian and African game.

Strength gained from the tanto style Tip with no effect on penetration, Killed a Few Water Buffalo with them this season...plus a heap of Howgs. Great Head!

I am planning on using them on hogs this year. So far they were not hard to sharpen and they fly pretty well for me.
