I got a used Suffer Tamer and some Suffers yesterday. Today I took one of the heads that was beat up and tried my luck. After 21 times of 10 passes each side, I had the angle set. From there I went to 5 passes 5 times, 4 passes 5 times, down to 1 pass for 5 times. I then hit it on the leather for a few passes. I was able to shave leg hair with ease after that. I can't believe I didn't screw it up and it was easy. I can't wait to try it on the heads in better shape.
What weight Snuffer did you start with, and what weight was is when you were done?
It started out at 112gr and ended up at 108.5gr. This is without an insert.
I used it for long time and always had some scary sharp Snuffers,I don't kwnow for what a reason they said it isn't good for the WW!
