I went to Magnus web site to get some more old style 160 gr Snuffers. They did not have them list. If they are not made any more. Is there another 160gr 3 blade with a 1 1/2 inch cut broadhead out there? I look at VPA but they are 1 1/8". But some special 1 1/4 were made for someone.
Some one will chime in but the traditional Magnus heads are now made by another fellow. I have to tell you, however, that other 3 blades like the Razorcaps and VPA's are just as deadly. I used to use the big Snuffers but find that the ones mentioned give me much better penetration.
The ownership changed hands but Snuffers live on. We are well stocked with Snuffers and are competitively priced as well.

Bill,
How do your favored heads compare to Snuffers for blood trails? I haven't shot any of the smaller 3 blades.
Hey Capt Eddie, the Snuffer design was sold to a company called Thundervalley Archery. Luckily I had stocked up while Magnus still made them. The new owner sells them in those expensive 3 packs that we all love so much.

Great...those 160 grain snuffers are bad news on whitetails....I've been in on lots of Curt Cabreras kills with them....nasty what they do...glad they aren't off the market. AND, not another 3 blade with those length/width specs.
If you want one even bigger...try the Big Jims.

Got some Razorcaps you can try Phil. Great broadhead and nice blood trails. I've used them on two turkeys and a half dozen deer with no losses.
They dont make razorcaps for wood do they? If not I am out!
I've been using Snuffers since Roger made them, Can't imagine hunting without them.
Last years's blood trail. Not all are quite like this but most everything I shoot goes down in sight. Those that don't leave plenty to follow.

I saw them for sale in a catalog I got from ********* Archery.
6 packs
3 packs
anyone selling just a single broadhead for $29.99 these days. Good grief!
looks to me like they are being sold in 6 packs on the makers website. I dont know???
Warrior I agree with you but I guess what do we expect, inflation is a pain in the butt.
C
Thunder Valley is making them and I bought some off of them. They are a dandy head still and honestly, they seem to be better right out of the pack as far as having a good edge established. Better yet, the are honoring the long standing warranty the snuffer has always carried even though they were made by Magnus, or Delta. Top rate company guys. God Bless
All of our stock is 6 packs and will continue to be as long as we can get them.
