been shooting an older grizzly the last few months that RC loaned me. Heard a weird noise on release. Half of the string broke at the bottom loop. WEW! could have blown up if the whole thing broke. lucky me!
now, after closer inspection. the string grooves look like they are starting to delaminate. two very small spots but both are right in the grooves. Anyway of repair to make safe? thinking filling the gaps with super glue?
thanks
I have used super glue to make long term repairs to tips-especially on older bows-go for it!
Yep super glue and don't use FF strings.
Mike
thanks guys. will do!
If that don't work for you, shoot me a pm. Got a 58", 51@ 28" red wing hunter I'll loan ya...if you are in need. Barry
W already have one caleb.....u must be caleb the bow breaker II. :biglaugh:
If you wanted to be triple safe post a picture of the tips on the Trad History and Collecting forum and ask for tip repair advice. By the sound of it I would say that bow has plenty of life left with a little superglue added though.

BWD, thanks buddy! I went ahead and ordered a new grizzly from 3rivers last night. I do appreciate the offer though!
