Title: tiller question

Will a bow that's been tillered for split-finger ever really shoot well three under? Is it just a matter of re-tuning or will there always be some imperfection in arrow flight?

I've always shot split but, after trying it for the first time, I've recently found that I'm much more consistent shooting three under - say, the difference between an 8 inch group and a 4 inch group at 20 yards.

Raising the nock point usualy is all that is needed.

Well, the reason I asked the question in this forum is because I did raise the nock point and there seems to be movement in my arrows, whereas they shot well before. Does moving the nock point up create different force on the arrow? Slightly more downward? Is moving the nock point 1/4" enough to create noticeable change in shooting?

How well your bow will perform three fingers under will depend on how it is now tillered. Bring it by my shop and let me look at it, maybe I can help. (406) 375-2300
