Last year I splurged for my 40th birthday and bought myself a one piece PSRX in bocote. It's a beautiful bow. Well I was disappointed bc I didn't shoot it very good. At least not as good as the PSR I bought used. (same exact specs) 57#@28", 56" well through the year I doubted my ability and questioned whether I developed some bad habits. I noticed the top limb looked a bit twisted but it didn't look like much to me. This yr I took it to the Real Thing and had Tradbow and Warren check it out and both confirmed that both limbs were twisted. Now it was decision time, do it myself, let someone fix it for me or send it back. I decided to send it back. (That was 5 weeks ago.) I even texted swamprat that I was looking forward to getting it back. Well one afternoon I got a call from the
Black Widow factory. They told me they had been working on the bow for a couple weeks and couldn't get the limbs to stay straight. The rep proceeded to tell me they were gonna build me a new bow with the same woods AND add a beavertail grip for nothing! I'm impressed bc in today's society after a year they stood behind their product! They could have used plenty excuses but they chose the righteous path! THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE! made my day that's for sure!
Well it came in this Monday and It sure shoots fine and looks even better IMO. I asked the company to leave out the red so now I just call it the "Brown Predator"!! LOL

Looking good Greg! Always heard BW customer service was the best around.
BTW, WHAT A GEORGEOUS BOW!!!!!
Can't beat that. Roger and the boys at Widow are second to none that is for sure!!
X's 2
They sure convinced me! It had been over a year and they still replaced the bow.
AWESOME!!
That is one reason I keep buying Widows...Customer Service!!
Sounds like a great company!
I guess my next bow will be a Black Widow.
Great looking bow and  to the boys down in Nixa!
They made it right, all you can ask for.
Nice to hear about companies that stand behind their product.
Well Done Widow!
That's a good looking bow,and I'm glad to hear that there are still some companies out there that stand behind their products.
Great company. I had a problem with a longbow I bought new from them. Sent it back and they built me a new one and asked if I needed to borrow a bow to shoot while they were making my new one. Outstanding people.RC
Great company for sure.I have both recurves and longbows from Black Widow, they are my go to bows. Some people love them and some do not,but everyone agrees that the Black Widow customer service is one of the best.
The Widow Workers stand behind whatever they do to the MAX. They set the standard for all others to follow
Blackwidow ROCKS!!!
No better service than Black Widow. Posting this information will without doubt influence other companies to do a better job with their customer service. I have dealt with BW for over 25 years and have had nothing but outstanding after the sale service! They take care of their customers period!
There is no better customer service then Blackwidow has none! I have had them go over the top for me I am a lifetime lover and customer of there bows. As far as I'm concerned there is none better I own three and I may not be done. Widow
I bought a new longbow from them 15 months ago. I happened to have it with me at Compton a few weeks ago, and showed them that my beaver tail grip had come unglued. A quick look on their part and they said it was not my fault. They told me to send it with them back to Nixa, and they would fix it under warranty. My bow went with them on Saturday, and I had it back, with a new beavertail grip, on the following Thursday, free and postage paid.
I can't say enough good about Black Widow!
:clapper:
I recently got a used PSR takedown it is a great bow.
No better people to deal with than the Black Widow Staff!
BW is a top notch company. One of their employees, Vernon, spent probably two hours of his time, total, speaking with me on the phone in regard to tuning my PSA. I bought some arrows from him at his recommendation that turned out to be a little to weak. I called him back and he told me to send the arrows back and he would make me up another batch of stiffer arrows and get them out to me. No charge other then shipping. I even got the arrows in the same week I sent him the returned arrows.
Great bows and even better people.
I've owed 2 PSA and have had nothing but good service with Widow boys. I have been to their shop at least 3 times and during the first visit I had my oldest daughter with me and se was about 12 then. Mr. Ken Beck greeted us at the front counter and seen my daughter and asked if she would like to see how the bows were built? We jumped at the offer and he probably spent 45 minutes walking us through the process. I was not able to afford one at that time but it left such an impression on me that I determined that one day I would own one. I currently don't due to getting a craving for Centaurs but the ones I have owned were some of the best shooting bows iv'e ever shot, easy to lock in on the target and stable. My last trip to Nixa I tried a PLX and I was slapping arrows  Great bows and better people!
Love my widow!
Ken Beck is a great guy and a pleasure to talk to, but he has "left the building". I find Toby, Roger, John, and Vernon are doing an excellent job of running the show. My last widow was signed by Ken; if I get another new one, I don't want Ken's signature now. I want the new owners to sign it... they've earned my respect.
There are a bunch of fantastic bows out there, but there will always be at least 2 widows in my stable.
Well I'm very happy with my new PSR!! shoots like a dream and I also know it represents good people!
