Title: Chamfer and deburring tool
Post by: gvdocholiday on July 03, 2012, 04:07:00 PM
I'm looking for a way to chamfer my footings so that they're easier to pull out of targets.  I'm also looking for a reamer/deburring tool to clean up the edges/roll on my glue on broadheads so they mate better with the threaded adapter.

Anyone have any idea of a simple hand tool/tools that can accomplish this for me?  Links and/or pics would be helpful.

On the rear edge of the footing, I take a small file and chamfer at a gentler angle than the case prep tool. I chuck it into a bench- mounted drill, it goes pretty quick.

There is  specialty deburring tool called the VLD (Lyman???) that is at a smaller angle than the std one.
