I currently use a GN quick detach bow quiver but my 190gr Ribteks only hide halfway up the quiver hood because they are so long. I have been thinking of getting a GFA quiver but I have never seen one in person......how deep is the hood compared to a standard Great Northern hood?
1 3/4" to the foam.
This is my first GFA, and I really like it!
So , its only 1 3/4" deep total or is it 1 3/4" to the first part of the foam and then you have the thickness of the foam?
My GFA measures as follows:
1 1/4" from the edge of the quiver hood to the foam. The foam is 1 3/4" thick. So, the total depth of the quiver hood is 3". Hope this helps.
i think GN offers a longer hood now, you might want to check it out
they have one that is 3/4" longer than the original
1 3/4" From edge of quiver to foam. 3 1/4" from edge of quiver to top of quiver. My quiver is wool covered.
Thanks everyone!
I extended my son's initially and did mine too
