I just thought I would share some pictures of a New Riser option that I have put into a few Longwalkers this summer. This lay-up allows me to use my I-Beam riser with out the "stripe" going down the center of the grip. It also allows me to use more Glass or Phenolic in the riser for added strength and stiffness. I think the looks are pretty good as well. Let me know what you think. Thanks for looking.

I love the grey Sycamore and the Curly Ash!
I think there will be another Two Tracks in my future. Great work as usual Chuck!
Rob
Very nice Chuck I like it.
Looks great Chuck. I agree with Rob, that sycamore and curly ash are great lookers. Those risers look great. Really show off your workmanship and attention to detail, even more. That is some of the best finish work I've seen.
I've always been a fan of curly maple, but that curly ash is just fantastic.
I just came back in from the shop to grab my camera, Seems that I need to try something new with an Ambush riser this morning. Stay tuned for that.
Thanks for the remarks guys, I wanted to say that the 3 riser on top have 3 Main riser laminations plus the "Saddle"
The bottom 2 have 5 lams plus the saddle.
All of them have the obvious accent lams added.
This configuration allows me to offer a higher grip option on the Longwalker.
The Curly Maple bow looks really nice but as the picture shows and a few have mentioned, That curly Ash is super. I think KHalverson likes it.
Chuck that Maple is nice, just cant decide which one I like better
Me like.
Liking the 2 bottom ones for sure. Good ol American woods. Thanks for sharing. Flint
Very nice Amigo!!
Troy

Troy, I sent you a PM.
Great looking bows, great performance, workmanship, and prices. Now, how about those "other" pics Chuck.

Very very nice. I like the looks of the bottom one, no the next one up, no the next one up from that one lol. They all look great.
Walnut gives it a soft look, like gun stocks.
Beautiful bows, but that Curly Ash is just awesome!
Well Done Chuck! :clapper:
chuck
i know of 2 very happy people that have new longwalkers
guys thes pics dont really do these bows justice
there drop dead gorgeous

sorry double post
Don't forget OB Kevin. His Mermaid got a fresh tune up laid on to her and now he is ready to take on all comers from what I hear.
FYI, Khalverson Got the Curly Ash(that everyone seems to like so guard it with your life KH), and His buddy Big Mike has the Grey Sycamore, I forget Mikes Handle but he is a T-ganger.
As always, Thanks for looking and the nice comments,
CTT
from what i hear ol owlbait is ready to rock n roll after the tune up
guys thes bows throw some heavy shafts pretty quick
im shootin a 560 grain arrow that hits like a ton o bricks
Really liking those Charles! The Ambush would look sweet too with a few 'accents' in it.
Chuck's fit and finish is by far the best I have had in my hands. These lomgwalkers are sweet and they shoot as good as they look! By the way, I am the proud owner of the grey sycamore longwalker.
Keep up the good work Chuck!
BTW you couldn't ask for a better guy to deal with!
Just because Chuck posted some pics doesn't mean you guys with new bows get off easy. We need specs and more pics! :readit:
Rob
Mike1980! Thats it!
Thanks Mike.
The BirdsEye and the osage bow are with fellow Michigan men, All the bows are from Native Michigan woods.

Looking good as alway's Chuck
I like the bottom two risers. And I like the fact that all these bows are from native Michigan woods.
very good work as always Chuck !!! Great looking bows! :clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
Chuck,
Cool looking LB risers !! You heading to Denton Hill the end of the month ?
Very nice looking bows
Thanks All,
Tom, Lord willing I will be over as a player, not a worker.
see you then.
Them 2 bottom ones are sure nuff eye catchers
Nice looking Longwalkers there Chuck.
:archer2:
Love the looks of that bow, shoot great too!
Chuck,
Now that is just mean to post pictures like that. The grey sycamore is amazing, I find myself just starting at it. You know people here have addiction issues and seeing pretty veneers does not help!!!!
Looking good, and I think the grey sycamore would look good on an American Semi-Longbow.........cough. cough.
Brian, I was guilty before but my friend Rob is responsible for this go-round.
It sounds like you might be interested in what I am working on now. Stay tuned.
And thanks again for all the compliments guys.

ive been hoping to post some hero pics with my curly ash longwalker but alas the huntin time seems to be near null this year
can you make a riser out of one piece of cocobolo without any accents or other woods in it?
Yes, I Glued up two today.
Chuck is da man, he can do it
Very nice looking bows :wavey:

I've been trying to be a patient customer for a change, but I sense a glimmer of hope if Chuck is gluing up some plain jane with coco!
Thom

So it sounds like it's time for me to resume my morning weight regiment! Where did the last two months go??? :knothead:
Thom

do i sense that theres soon to be another longwalker over here on the west side
COOL!
There is "something" coming together in the middle of the mitten...
The one teaser pic makes it look like it might already be strung up :)
Thom
Looks good!

Love the grip on your bows . High wrist grips are more difficult to maintain tight arrow groups. On a high wrist riser arrows will hit high if the archers bow hand relaxes. Your riser grips are great.
