Was Joe's "Trad Longbow Joe"... which was Justin's "newell38" before that... pretty sure most of you have seen what it looked like before I had Jim put it on a diet (took off a few pounds)and add some stippling... here's what it looks like after...

The rest of the bow looks like every other Centaur Jim puts out... just plain awesome.
They're very nice bows, a friend has one and that thing is very quick. What are the specs?
54#@25" after the weight reduction.

I'm sure it will Joe. Thanks again for being super cool when selling me it... I am most grateful.
Jim builds a fine bow.
I have built some strings for him, and found out right quick, that his bows have more preload (in line string stress at brace), than any longbow I have ever worked with. Very similar to that of a high performance recurve.
Preload mean power, and his gots plenty of that.
Rick
Spot on Rick. Jim's design sure does help us draw length challenged folk.
Looks real purty!
Nice Bow!
Nice!!
Sweet bow Kawika! When we going hunting?
Ryan
Very pretty bow! I gotta say Jim does fine work, but if his bows were but ugly and still performed like they do, I would still shoot mine. Thankfully, you get the best of both worlds!

Hopefully we can hook something up Ryan. Slowly working my way back into shooting shape... and back into shape in general. A desk job sucks for staying in shape... I had no issues when I used to be a delivery guy. I saw RK808's (the other Ryan) thread about you guys going after feral cattle... that's exactly what I'm working my way towards here on Maui. I got a friend who has feral cattle, goats, pig and deer on a piece of property. He's a rifle guy but is getting back into archery with a compound and he's willing to let me have a go at it with my stick and string. I just need to get my skill set back together... too much time away from the bow.
Sounds good!
Glad to see you're back to shooting! Best of luck and hope to hear some hunting stories!!! :campfire:
Ryan
beautiful bow, congrats!
