Title: Kudo's to one of our own
Post by: Green on June 26, 2012, 05:55:00 AM
In keeping with the "support our sponsors" aspect of TG, I just wanted to post up some thanks to Magnus for the fine feather work he does.  He'll custom cut almost any length and pattern from turkey or goose, and can also dye the turkey fletching any color you need.  Your feathers or his....the quality is always tops.

Matt also offers some very fine Poplar arrow shafting.  Beautiful wood that tapers well, stays straight, takes color well, and is the toughest shafting I've ever shot.

Matt's trying to make a full time go with his feather, arrow building, and shaft sales in this tough economy.  Please think of him the next time you have anything you need along these lines.

Does he have a web site or do you just have to call him? I looked under the sponser list and didn't see his listing. I am needing new feathers. Would like to try a 5 inch traditional cut.

I do not have a web site yet but you can pm or email me by clicking on the links in my signature. Also I have a service and price list in the associate sponsor listing under Matt Gundock. Thank you guys for the support!

I just got my ground full length turkey feathers from Matt that I bought in the ST Jude auction.  I added in some more feathers and dyeing service on top of what Matt donated (I agree sponsors need our business). Of course the quality is first rate, just like the feathers I got from Matt last winter.  Buy with confidence.

Thank you Matt.

There's none better than Matt.  In an age when exceptional customer service is hard to find Matt stands amongst the very best.  He'll always take the time to answer any and all your questions either by PM, email, or phone.

And if your youngsters are needing some arrows make sure to talk to Rob Green.  Another stand up guy.  (see what I did there?     ;)  )

Both of the above mentioned sponsors serve the public extremely well.  Their efforts are shown in the quality work they do.

Thanks for the kind words Charlie and Pat.

It's a pleasure to do business with Matt....orders for shafts or feathers are always right on the money and seem like they're at my doorstep right after I hang up the phone.

I do know of quite a few folks who are extremely pleased with his work as an arrowsmith as well.  If you haven't shot his Poplar shafting you should really give them a try. I gotta admit....I'm hoarding more than several dozen of these shafts for my personal use.

Matt made some poplar shaft arrows with his shield cut turkey feathers for me.  They are awesome to look at and fly straight.  They will see the deer woods this fall.

Oh yeah, classic blue barred turkey feathers. I can remember arrows from the late 60's when I was a kid that had 1 blue barr and 2 gray barred fletch with a sky blue full length paint and simple crest.  Just flat out classic stuff and brings back cool memories.
