I saw these arrows and heard they are quite good so I want to get some. I just don't know if I should get the sitkas or the alaskans since my bow weight is the high end of the sitkas and the low end of the alaskans. I have a 50# @28 Hoyt dorado. My draw length is 28 also. I do want to get my arrow weight up around 600 grains. I know that you can get a couple test arrows but I don't want to spend the extra money for them so any advice would be appreciated.

I have shot them alll. Definitely get the Momentums 45-60. They shoot like a laser out of my 50# longbow. Cut a 29 inch arrow with a 185 grain head and add 50 grains screw in weights to back of insert should be close to 600. That would be a FOC heivyweight... Good luck

I've had both and a friend has some Alaskans. Neither of us shoot them. I would move on. That's all I'll say.

I have had the Alaskans and had them Fletch and cut them for me. They put one drop of glue on the insert so the inserts kept coming out. I found on of the 6 inserts and that is when I noticed that they only put a drop of glue on them. So I called to get more inserts and they said that I had to buy them so I ended up selling them for nothing. Ok arrow, bad experience with the company. I would look into Arrow Dynamics and I like that the AD are made in the USA!
