We are getting a lot of questions about our recently introduced "Mesa" bow quivers. It seems like a good idea to show and elaborate on some of the options available.
The hood will fit 2 blade broadheads that are no more than 1 7/8th inch wide, and no more than 2 7/8th inches in length. There is no foam in the quiver, it uses the sheath principle.
The Mesa will be available in a basic unit consisting of a 4+1 (4 broadheads + 1 blunt or judo) hood, and the bottom 4 or 5 arrow gripper assembly. It can also be purchased with either the "totem" or the "wing", or both.

The totem can be in a fixed length to fit a particular bow or adjustable to fit several risers of different lengths. They will be in flat black.
To start with, we will stock the hood in three basic colors: black, reddish brown, and osage. (Of course we are open to custom colors.)

These quivers are for sale now. We will be showing them at the IBO in Clarksville,Tn and at Denton Hill, Pa. this year. We are working diligently to build an inventory before then. We will also sell them through some well known dealers and bowyers. Right now only Ron LaClair has them. He calls his the "Edge" and they have his "Shrew" logo on them. They are very compatible with short high performance bows like the "Shrew".
It's not on our website yet but will eventually make it. To order today you would need to call or email us.

Here is one of the custom "Mesa" quiver hoods.

Could you show us a picture or two of the inside of the hood and overall dementions of the height and width of the hood? Looks really nice.
-
Thank you Don..I love my Mesa with the wing and totem feature...best quiver I have ever used.
-
Does the arrow gripper work for Beaman MFX or other skinny arrows?
-
Kinda liking this one. Could you post a picture showing the broadheads inside the quiver hood.
-
Not familiar with these quivers. Can you explain what is the "totem" and the "wing" versions.

Second pic is a little blurry from my cell phone, but these are great quivers. They mount solid with no wiggle room, and I really like the option of having that blunt right up front.

I'm really likin' it mounted on my Two Tracks Ambush.

This is one that I just finished. It is sharkskin dyed to look like tree bark. Anyone know if "Sharkbark" has been used by anyone?

To answer another question, the overall dimensions are 5" wide x 3 3/8" in height.

Thanks for posting the inside picture with arrows in it. Very nice quiver.

bulldog18, sorry about the quality of the photo. I had cropped this photo to make it larger but somehow the uncropped photo was the one that came up. I have to figure that out.
Someone asked about weight. The overall weight of the "Mesa" with the "totem", 5 arrow gripper, and the "wing" setback feature is about 10 ounces. The hood is about 4.5 oz., the "totem about 1 oz, and the "wing" with a 5 arrow gripper about 4.5 oz. As a 4 arrow model without the "totem" and "wing" the weight would be about 7.5 - 8 oz.

It works real good with my Axis shafts..fits tite and nice
-
elknutz or TxAg, what is the diameter of a Beaman MFX shaft? Most of my experience is with Gold Tip.
-
I believe the diameter for the Axis is 9/32" and I know the gripper fits my Axis and Beman just perfect..no wiggle or anything, pops in and out just right

2 Fletch, nice looking quiver. A few questions, is there a gripper option to fit 2016 aluminum arrows? And, are there totem length options for various bows? I have a predator hunter takedown. I went to your website but did not see this style quiver. What is the price for the 4+1?
-
PeteA, The standard gripper will fit that shaft. The totem is available in fixed length or adjustable. We can make a short adjustable totem at 8-14" or a longer model at 10-18". It will be on the website before much longer.

Bob, I'm guessing that you like the quiver. :clapper: It looks good with the Morrison logo on it.
To answer a couple of questions, the "Totem" is a very light weight system that we developed to connect the hood and gripper attachments to effectively make it a one piece quiver. It utilizes two arrow shafts with one inserted inside the other to make a telescoping shaft that will fit a variety of riser lengths. A length of surgical tubing is used to keep them from pulling apart. The "Totem" is fastened to the interior part of the hood and arrow gripper using machine screws that screw into the arrow inserts. It's a system that blends with the arrows better than anything else that we considered.

I have a pair of Eagles Flight quivers and I ordered this one from Ron yesterday. I really like EF's quivers with the totem.
-
My firend Don does make some mighty fine quivers! None better IMHO. They don't seem to help his shooting any though
-
Had to interrupt my post for church services. Sorry about that.
The other item we're getting questions about is the "Wing" option. This is a set back feature which moves the arrow back toward the string. This gives better balance to the bow and works well with short bows. It is very steady on the limb. The "Totem" and "Wing" work well together.
-
I use Beaman MFX's and the quivers hold them great.LCH

You can now get this "Mesa" bow quiver from Ron LaClair with his "Shrew" logo or Bob Morrison with his logo. They both look great. Ron calls his model the "Edge" which is a great name for this quiver. They have them in stock.
Don't believe what WRV said about "They don't seem to help his shooting any though [laughing]" Not only do I hit the target that I shoot at, I hit things all around the target as well. Isn't that what is meant by being an "all around archer"?

Just curious, could this quiver be made into a side mount with the side mount kit you offer on your website?

Will have to check them out at Denton Hill.....
