Last night my truck got robbed. I have been working some long hours and needed a day in the hills. I had my truck loaded so I could head out early but only locked one door. They took my bow spotting scope, binos and a fly rod. If everyone could watch out for a 60" one piece pronghorn I would apperciate it. It was a used bow I picked up from a tradganger but it's the bow that shoots the best for me. It had someone elses name on it and I think The gun shop written on it. Thanks Jim
I'll keep an eye out for it on ebat. That is a major bummer!
Sorry to hear your bad luck! Big bummer! Hope you catch the nocount who stole dit & get your good shooter back! TG is on watch!
God I hate thieves! Will keep an eye out, good luck to you.
Check the pawnshops around town.
Keep an eye out for ads on Craigslist and Notify all the archery/gun shops you can find.
Sorry about your loss, hopefully they string the thieves high.
I remember when that bow was for sale as "The Gun Shop" is just a few miles from me in Olathe, Kansas. I hope they catch the scum that stole it.
that really stinks, twitchstick.
when i come back to my rig after a day of kayak fishing on the texas coast, i'm almost surprised to find it unmolested.
the muslims don't get much right, but they do know how to deal with thieves...
cut their damn hands off!

Sorry to hear. I had the same thing happen to me about 5 years ago. Except my stuff was stolen the night before opening day of deer season.. I hope you find your stuff.
Will keep an eye out!
File a police report and maybe the auto insurance can help repay any lost items. Hope you get him!
Nothing worse than that feeling .
Keep a eye open around the neighborhood it might be close.
sorry for the loss.

I'll bet someone nearby saw you loading up your truck. Thieves are among the worst scum on the earth. Hope you get some back.
Pictures, details like S/N, Make Models etc. Be sure to furnish a list to police and pawn shops in your town and nearby towns.
Where are you in Utah, I have some cop buddies in the state. I'm retired but still connected in the business. May be able to put a little extra effort into it. Shoot me a pm.

Depending on your carrier, your homeowner's/renter's insurance should pick up everything less the deductible. I had a bad vehicle fire once on the way back from hunting, had all my college textbooks, 2 rifles, a large raft in the bed, and a bunch of other stuff inside. State Farms ended up writing me a check for some $4,000 if I remember right. Covered me for an expensive bike stolen off the ceiling of my garage many years later, too.
Jim, Sorry to hear about your loss. Sure hope can get her back.
Jim that's not good. I'll keep an eye out. You wouldn't think too many in UT would even know what a trad bow was. Let me know if I can help at all.
GRRRRRRRRR!!!!
Thanks everyone for your sympathy but I'm sure it will work out. At least I have another bow to shoot until I replace it. I know most of the officers by frist name here in town so I'm sure they will do what they can. I have hunted a time or two with my insurance guy so I'm sure we will work things out. It's just the idea of theft that gets my blood boiling more than the lost of gear.
There are not many groups of people lower than a thief.
sorry for your misfortune, hope you get your go to back.
Jim,
Very sorry to read this post. That was such a nice looking bow. Let me know if you need pictures. I still have about a dozen photos of the bow and will gladly verify your purchase with your insurance company if ncessary.
that had to be a pinko, commi, thumbsucking, bed wetter to steal a mans bow!!!
Just thought I'd send this one back to the top. Not much worse than a thief, like to see this one caught.
I know the feeling, my first ever compound disappeared from my car in Minneapolis when I was stupid enough to leave it overnight. They also tried to steal the car and cracked the column trying to hot-wire it. Scum suckers! Ought to be strung up. Here's hoping that fate shines on you and you get it all back, at LEAST the bow!
