My Brother Mike (Lowebow) called me about a stock riser he liked on the Zipper website and wanted to buy it. We were talking about which limbs to put with it. Mike wanted a 62" bow and Bill didn't have any but assured Mike that with his 30" draw his 60" limbs would be fine for him. Mike asked me to have Bill send them here since my house is close to his work and we love tinkering together. Well I just opened the box and...
:scared: :scared: :scared:
I just told Mike if he doesn't like this bow I'm selling a kidney and its staying here.
Zebra and Cocobola SXT riser with foam/carbon limbs with some stained maple on the bellies. Some of the best looking Zebra wood I've seen and the superb Cocobolo is leftover from the piece thats in my new Nitro riser. Mike is working and hasn't seen it yet. I was going to string her and shoot it but I just can't bring myself to do it. I've known Mike for a long time and I know he will love this bastard bow whos parts weren't made for each. Steller job as usual Bill. WOW! What do ya think?

Tom,you know what I think of the Zippers;this is another masterpiece for sure.I would skin it,but I know your love for the black finish too.
It's not mine Felix it's Lowebows
Very nice! I would have to shoot it first if it were me. :D
I drooled all over the Zipper booth at Cloverdale.
Rob
Swweeet riser! That will be one shooting machine, no matter what its lineage might be!
Aside from being one of the coolest looking bows in the world, I'll bet it's
}}}}}FAssssssssstttttt!->>
Its ugly, send it to be so he wont be so upset with you when he comes over. It'll be tough but I would be willing to take one for the team :readit:
That is a beautiful bow!!!!RC
Tom,
Lock your doors, sell the house, and move far far away from Lowebow.... That is an AWESOME combo...
:biglaugh:
That is one sweeeet looking riser and the limbs look pretty cool with it. I'd keep it if were me !!
Looks good to me...... Already have 2 and that would make a great addition to the bow rack. What's the specs...or did I miss that!?
Ron these limbs are 50@28 on this SXT riser.
And I thought mine was the best looking Zipper I have ever seen! :scared:
Come on Tom....shoot it, shoot it, shoot it! :biglaugh:
WOW! Awesome combo. I've been trying to hold off getting a new custom bow made to order but these pics are making it tough. I love the bow I got, but I got the itch.
Wow that's nice
Tom, Can't believe you can resist the temptation to shoot that baby. I'd have to find a way to mess with Mike a little as well.. :biglaugh:
Bill's Bow Kick A$$ !!! Enough said
Very nice!
Great looking bow Tom. I really like all the different, contrasting woods.
I think Mike is going to like it!!
Sharp
Another impressive piece of work sculptured by Mr. Bill Dunn.
beautiful. absolutely beautiful.
I am not sure the finger grooves are cut properly. Better send it to me to check it out. I will have it back to you in a couple of years, oops weeks.
Matt
Sweet
awesome work, whe do we get to see it braced and drawn???
:-)
Stunning! You're right, those are beautiful woods.
Never shot a Zipper. I'd better not, either.
Carbon and foam..., gotta be fast, and def beeeyootifull ! I'd like to shoot that.
I saw the title and thought you bought me a new bow! Be careful using the "bastard" word. Our camp is "bastard camp".
Sweet bow TJ.. Your brother will love it.
Suuuuhweeeet! Grabbed 2-6 packs of diff arrows and all my test points prior to leaving for work this morning. Gonna have to pick up 2 more 6-packs on the way to TJ's this afternoon! :archer: Gotta take care of the Bow Ferry! Looking forward to shooting this bow and these pics do it even more justice than the ones on the Zipper site! Gonna love that riser! Love the way the limbs look Bill! Hope I like the way they shoot and I'll just keep em!
See you this afternoon bro!
Very, very nice bow!
Glad u got it. I was about to buy the entire bow. If something changes let me know.

Tom, you are the third or fourth person who was interested in that riser. Mike was just quicker on the draw.It does have some very nice wood in it. The good news is I have more! The limbs are still available, for now.
Bill
 Sweet looking bow !!! Guessing that's why your other recurve was on the classifieds. Great choice !!!
Bill
I sure wish I would have gotten some veneers like that on my Nitro! (http://www.pic4ever.com/images/2mo5pow.gif)
The wood combo is written down :bigsmyl:
Stunning bow!!
Bill I am impatiently awaiting My Nitro, Ha
Will

Nice one :bigsmyl:
TJ and I had quite the time shooting tonight and man is this bow quick and dead of shock and noise! I couldn't do the bow justice as I pulled a muscle between my shoulders and I've been really hurtin for a few days now. It liked multiple arrow combos from 32" CX 150's w/ 175 up front to 32" GT 75/55 w/ 300 up front. TJ was firing some CX 90's thru it like bullets also. Smooth to my draw, but I couldn't pull and anchor smooth.
Awesome bow, but TJ tried to trade me his Nitro for it no less than a doz times tonight! :goldtooth: He knows I shoot a Long Bow better than a recurve, but man I love this wood combo and could always order a set of LB limbs later!
Great bow Bill! Thanks! I'm gonna shoot these limbs a litte and make sure I'm all good w/ the weight and draw...They look like you made them for this bow tho!
I hope those pulled muscles get sorted out quick! It would suck to have a new bow to play with and not be able to enjoy it. :( I hope you took it to your place and did not leave it with TJ!
Bill get this, I tried to get Mike drunk so he may make a deal he would regret in the morning but he knew what I was up to and didn't even have one beer. :readit:
Man that is the hottest bow I've ever seen and it shoots like a dream. You're a lucky puppy Mikey. It's gonna look great in a hero shot laying across one of your home bucks!
Very Nice.
I know I have spent a fair bit of time in the Zipper booth at the shoots.

Don't wait, as they say...Lifes too short...
Should've known better than to open this thread. Nothing but trouble.

 :nono:
:scared: Mike must have really been worried about you pulling a fast one on him!
Tom,
I know if I were Mike I'd appreciate you stringing, tying on a nock locator at 5/8", and shooting it to make sure everything is AOK (of course with Zipper's rep I'm it is). It might even take a week or more to check it out properly for your good buddy?
Roy, after a few minutes he wouldn't even let me touch it anymore!
