Picked up a new Thunderchild from Big Jim this weekend at Compton. 56" 50@28. I draw 28". For any others that are shooting a similar TC setup, what's your arrow setup?
I'm playing around with GT 3555's and 2016's. I haven't bareshafted or paper tuned, but right now I'm getting the best flight from 3555's cut to 29" with 175 up front. 2016's are looking fair with 145 up front, but gotta tweak. Both are three fletched with 5" shields.
I shoot heritage 250s (.375 spine) out of a 50 pound griffin with 145 grain broadheads.
Try Arrow Dynamics Trad Lite with 100 grain brass inserts and any point weight from 145 to 300 grains.

Pokerdaddy, you are on the right track with the 3555's and may be able to put another 50g up front if you would like a little more punch.
Not familiar enough with the aluminums to help there.
good luck, BigJim
The 2016's are a very good choice.
My 50# TC will be here Thursday, so I will let you know. I am going to try my usual AD Trad Lites 29 1/2 inches long, regular insert, 180 grain head, 4x4 inch parabolic fletch and reflective wrap. Has worked fine on bows 45# to 55# for me!
I have a Centaur and Thunderhorn that are both 50@28 and I am getting the best arrow flight I have ever achieved from the following:
Beemen ICS Bowhunter 400 full length 32" with 75 grain brass inserts and 145 grain points. 4 X 4" parabolic goose feathers from Magnus. Stable in flight and amazing penetration on 3D's.

Chromebuck,I also use a .400 carbon in my line-up from 49#s to 52#s. I have between .175-.225 up frt. dependent upon what they like. But likewise buddy, great flight and penetration.
My arrows are 29.5 long. Traditional Onlys.
