Received this last Thursday after a 7 week wait. PCH3 Autumn Oak, 47# @ 27".
It only took 17 years but I am able to cross a Blackwidow bow off of my wish list. I'm super stoked and will be even more excited after I get it tuned.

Awesome. I don't own one, but I will. They are excellent bows, I love the short riser one...
That's excellent! Enjoy it. Love mine.
Eric
Enjoy! The PCH is my pick of the BW's. Great bow and smooth at short lengths.
sharp bow
Congrats!
nice bow.widows are hard to beat.
Never held one much less shot one but yours is a beauty!
Good looking bow!
Beware! Widow bows are like potato chips, even if you don't like it you will have to try another.
Awesome bow!
I've done a few dumb things, and wasted a bit of money from time-to-time when it comes to my traditional archery adventures. But I will never regret shooting a Black Widow bow. They are fantastic.
Now just work to have your shooting skills sharp enough to see what that bow is really capable of!
Nice looking Widow!
Congratulations. It was the same for me...finally bought mine in 2009 after drooling over them back in high school '92-'93. With all of the new choices in woods, I still have to admit the "Autumn Oak" is still my favorite...just something about it.
I'm going to order another set of limbs for my PSAIII at Kalamazoo in January.
BTW...check out the Pelican vault case. If you do a lot of traveling, it's the best!
Shooters congrats!
Looks like it shoots a little high. ;)
congrats
Nice bow. It will out last you. They are bullet proof.
congrats beautiful bow!! I love my kbx. it is a proven killer as well!
Nice looking bow.
I'm not much of a recurve shooter, but I have shot with a lot of guys using Widows. They are handsome bows that PERFORM. You will no doubt enjoy it immensely. Congratulations! Now you need to get a new camera to do justice to all the deer you will take with it this fall, because after all its in the rule book - you must post pics.

I hope! I am not the great white hunter that I wish I was. In fact I have been hunting on and off with a bow since I was 16 and have never harvested a archery animal. To say I am bad in the woods is a understatement. I consider it a successful season if I even see a deer. I'm hoping that this year will be different.
I like the bow and am in the process of tweaking it down to try and get rid of my fishtailing. So far it doesn't seem to be near as fast as my Samick Sage though the Sage is 1# heavier. But the draw is so much smoother than the Sage that it is very noticeable.
Smeans, I suspect it will shoot much quicker once you get the fishtailing under control. That zaps a lot of K.E., as-well-as speed from the arrow.
Nice Widow right there! And worthy of the wait.
Nice one! I have a Widow longbow. Only problem with the Widow is you will find yourself wanting to buy another Widow.
Congrats! Great shooters they are.
That is a beauty for sure. I have a KBX on order that is still a few weeeks out. This post really whets my hunger for it.
Nice Widow. I see a 58" KBX in my future for sure. Widows are bullet proof. When I was at Bear Quest last year I asked Bowdoc, who's had his hands on some of the finest bows ever made, if he could have one bow what would it be. He told my if he was going on a hunt of a lifetime and he could only take one bow it would be a Widow. That say's alot!!!!!
Very nice bow!
Lots of great bows out there but I'd be hard pressed to say one is better than the Widow, at least among the bows I've shot.
Good looking bow! :archer:
She's a BEAUTY!!!
Awesome Widow! Neat quiver too! Great bows and company.
Worth the wait I'd say! Awesome beaut!
Good for you, be PROUD!!!!!
Had one just like it but it was a '94 model. Killed a bunch of critters with it. Great performers, congrats.
Once bitten by the Widow bug well you will find out. Nice Widow!! TD.
I am really liking the bow but man I am having a hard time tuning it.
The GT 3555's I have don't shoot well even though my other stronger draw bow shoots them fine. Someone mentioned that widows need a stiffer spine since they are past center cut. So I got some 5575's and the fishtailing has settled down some but is still not gone away. I have used multiple head weights on both arrows and all it seems to do is make the arrows hit left or hit dead center of where I aim; the fish tail is still there. I have also noticed that this bow is way sensitive to release and not real forgiving compared to my Samick. Do you think I should try some of the 7595 arrows and see what happens? Arrow length on all of these are 27.5.
Nice looking bow. A Black Widow is on my Bucket List too!
you are going to need a bigger freezer....
Beaaauty!!!! Mine should be here in a couple days!!! I got a greybark and I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself! My friend has an autumn oak and it was such a dream to shoot, I had to get one for myself! I am now thoroughly positive that I like trad more than compound.... better not let my sponsors hear this!! hahah enjoy your new baby!
Oh yeah, about fishtailing, my friend said that his did it quite a bit but with GT 35/55s (just about the same problem you're having) he bare shafted through paper, kept the point heavy and about 10.5 grains per pound of arrow weight. then he kept moving the nock incrementally lower until it shot well. I can't wait to do this with my own...
I apply a similar method of this when tuning my compounds for FITA and 3D except at 5 grains per pound...
