Well the wife and kids give me my fathers day and birthday persent all in one today.I have been talking to Rick Weltch alot the last few weeks and now it is time for me to go. I can't wait I haven't been into trad archery for that long bout a year. I hope I haven't picked up to many bad habits. I already shoot 3 under I anchor the way he does and have watched every youtube video on it. I hope he can help me out. Mike
Mike that is great! Rick will help you out. Very good decision on your part to go to him early in on in your traditional shooting. Plus Rick is a great guy and a lot of fun.
It also helps I only live bout 2 hours for him.
Rick is a great teacher.
Most cool Mike right where it counts! (Get it?) Heard much of Mr. Welches shooting instructions. One of the best. Great family you have there!
Please let us know how it goes. I really want to attend one of his classes also, but finding it difficult to find the time.
Mike, Happy for you. Your family did good! Smart investment, wish I had done it 30 yrs ago.
That's amazing. I would love to go to his school. You are a lucky man.
Great for you! Let us know how it goes.
I promise as soon as I get back I'll be letting ya know everything.
I attended last April and it was one of the best decisions I have made for my trad shooting. Rick WILL make you a better shot. No doubt, you will enjoy the school and Rick's company. He is an excellent teacher.
Have fun and congrats!
This is gonna be my little vaction all by my self can't wait. I have 2 bows I'm taking with me, my hoyt buffalo and my ILF trad tech longbow I shoot for 3d. I hope Mr. Rick can help with both bows. I will use my Buffalo mainly for his class. I just want to get some arrows for the longbow. I dont get to got tell Aug. gonna be a long wait lol. If any of you took his class what all did he do to your bows to make them shoot better for you?
Trying to get on Rick's schedule for August or early September so that I'll be better prepared for deer season. I'm like you in that I've only been shooting traditional since December.
Started with a Hoyt Buffalo, but now up to Thunderhorn, Morrison, Big Jim and coming in July, a Jim Neaves Centaur.
Building my own arrows, and even have my wife shooting a recurve. Boy, this is fun!
Let's hear how the class goes!
I have a bunch of different bows to shoot but, I am really wanting to shoot one of his bows, has anyone on here got one or have shot one, also does he make long bows to?
