Title: Tradbow Hunting Fathers with Daughters...
Post by: Molson on June 17, 2012, 01:46:00 PM
My daughter drew me a book of "Memories" for Father's Day.  Thought y'all might enjoy this page:

Nothing better than being reminded your daughter still sees you as her hero and protector, even at 15 years old!

This scene actually happened to us a few days ago (minus the bow in hand) with a wild doe.  It was pretty funny!

Happy Father's Day everyone!

Guru, pack lots of patience, my daughter freaked out about a stink bug with a gobbler at 40 yds this spring. Needless to say she didnt get a shot. Now we just make jokes about the green stinkbug turkey!

Save those drawings and she will love you for it when she is older(say, fifty-five or so). Ask me how I know.

Great picture!
Killdeer is right, keep all the pics/cards. I have a stack of them in my gunsafe from my daughters. My oldest just turned 20 last month. I fished out one of the things I saved that she made in Kindergarten and showed all her friends at the party, everyone(her too) got a big laugh from it. She had to put her picture on a paper and write one thing about herself. Well she got a couple new pets the day before the project. Her paper said "I'm Lisa and I have crabs!" She got hermit crabs for pets!!!  :bigsmyl:

Sigh, Jess is 17 now, working hard towards college, and on her way to her own life. Those drawings are everything to me now, so hold on tight my friend!
