Here some time ago i put a bow on the market to sell, and after i done it i thought to myself " DID YOU BUMP YOUR HEAD, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?" Well lucky for me it didnt see much interest and it is here where it was meant to be.
Just curious if anyone else has ever barely avoided a regret like that?
Yea, I wasnt so lucky, mine sold..wish I could find out how has it now.
Eric
I have done that but its only been with one bow and I know where it went.....so hopefully I can track it down if I ever need to.
Im not sure if my pricing was way off or that very few were familiar with Rocky Miller bows, but either way, good fortune smiled on me, and this old longbow is home for good.
Been there, done it.......
Yesterday I briefly had a bow listed. Took it outside to take some additional pictures and while outside decided to shoot a couple dozen arrows for a send off.
As the bow and I put arrow after arrow into a three inch circle at 20 yards I thought to myself "what are you doing getting rid of this bow?"
Promptly went inside and deleted the listing.
I may have done it a minute ago!
Had my first heavy hunting longbow sold 3 times already. Pulled the plug each time. A beauty as sweet today as the day I took her home. If I could find a good home maybe? Isn't that weird?
A time or two, but usually wound up selling it at a later date. Once the seed is planted about selling one, there is usually a reason. I might not be able to put my finger on that reason, but it's still there, and usually germinates.
Wow, BWD you sure nailed what goes on in my head!
I contemplate a bow or two from time to timme. Most of the time (maybe for more than year) I get over it. Well, today I put two up. One here and another at the Widow Wall.
For me a bow either clicks with me, or it doesn't. I usually can tell you the answer to that within 24 hours.
I recently had a Black Widow for a mere 48 hours before I sold it. It is a great bow for someone, just not for me.
