Anyone shoot one?
The postman delivered my noctice today that it arrived. I tried tracking him down (i got home early) but he was off to fill in on a different route.
Anyways, i should be able to pick it up first thing in the morning. I've shot the 60s, 62s, and 64s but this will be my first 66. It's also a 2-piece take down which is nice.
Pics to come tomorrow.
I have a 66" Whip and it is my favorite. I have seen no loss of speed w/ the longer bow and only more of Dan's SMOOOOOOOTHNESS w/ the 66" bow.
These are nice bows!!
I'm glad you are the one that has to try to sleep tonight!
Doug
I agree with lefty, I think the 66" is Dans best bow. Mine is also a takedown, the added mass and the smoothness make the 66" whip something special, your gonna love it.
Taking a stand & going out on a limb.., bet you'll like the 66". I'm down to longer bows only now. Graceful and hard charging hitters!
How about some new daddy pix?
It'll be a tough night.....BUT tomorrow is my birthday. I guess it was meant to be.
Haven't yet tried a 66" but so far the longer the better for Dan's stuff for me. I need to order a set of 60" recurve or 64" longbow limbs for my lynx. Just haven't figured out exactly what I want yet.

Sending you a pm
I draw 29"s and recently had Dan build me a 66" Classic Whip then a couple of 62" Classic Whips with the newer H.S. limbs. the longer bow is smooth as silk and as fast as the shorter bow of the same poundage but for me the newer 62" Whip with the H.S limb design comes pretty close to being the perfect bow.
Thanks Jim. I know you know your Toelkes. Smooth is what I'm banking on.
It's gotta be smoooth.
My 62"HS is something sweet...never shot better.
A 66" must be pudding smooth.
If you can deal with the added length I bet you'll LOVE it.
Happy birthday to me.....i picked up the Whip this morning and have shot 15-20 arrows. Loving it so far!
Working from home has its perks :)
Too bad it has been pouring here in Dallas. We've gotten 4" in the last 12 hours. I'd love to be shooting this thing all day.

Just let me know when
I think i've got her name: "Conejo"
Translates to "rabbit" in Spanish. I'm half Mexican and the bow is quick, quiet, and fluid. I think it works!
