Will the insert you stick in the nock side of a grizzly stick to use glue on nocks work with AD arrows as well......basically does anyone know if the inside diameter of AD's and grizzlysticks are he same at the nock end?
Lewis...the ADs are parallel tapered parallel...the Griz's are just tapered.
Everytime you cut off the nock end of a Griz you might need a different nock adapter.
I don't know if they are the same stock or not.
Thanks Terry.....3rivers is out of the AD nock adaptors but they have the Grizzly's so I was wondering if I should try them to see.
Try gary or ted
I will check out Ted....who is Gary by the way?
The Grizzly Stik adapters will fit the AD shafts, I prefer to use them because you can use a 5/16" nock and has a better fit. FYI the G Stik push in nocks will work also. I have been using them for years.
I have some if the G nock bushings but I prefer using glue on nocks. Thanks for the heads up, I will order some of the Grizzly adaptors and give them a shot.
I use the aluminum glue in adaptors from Alaskan Bowhunters. Remember to NEVER cut off the nock end of a Grizzlystik, always cut of the point end. Good luck.
The Grizzly Stick SITKA nocks work well in AD arrows - they fit a bit tighter than the AD nocks, hence the SITKAS must be a bit larger in their ID. I don't know if nocks for the other Grizzly models also work.
