Sorry, but I've "searched" to no avail and cannot find a recent post about supposed changes to the PACSEAT.
Anyway, for what it's worth, Mr. Waldrop told me yesterday, via telephone, that there have been no changes to his seat and current production is the same as previously supplied by the Asbells.
Respectfully,
Kevin
Ok
That good to know . I was worried mine might have a hidden flaw. I've really enjoyed mine this past season
Too big and bulky for me.
I think they are great. Just got a call this morning saying my second and third Waldrop Pacseats were being shipped out to me.
If you need a pack seat....you will NOT find a better one than the Waltrop IMO.
I love mine.
I second Terry!!
According to Asbell's website, the pac seat is no longer available.
Am I missing something here? I was wanting to check them out.

X2
Asbell no longer carries them, you can get them direct from David now. He has no email that I know of or a website. You can call him directly and leave a message and will call you back pretty quick. I just ordered one a few weeks ago and it was on the porch in 6 or 7 days.

If you want to check them out previous threads will have to do for now. Try the one below or just search PowWow for 'Waldrop'

I've enjoyed mine a lot, but am tempted to upgrade the carrying straps to something more substantive. It's my favorite hunting seat and has supplanted the Nif-T-Seat.
I love mine it is great
Yeah, I wish the straps were a bit better. I'm gonna leave them as they are for now and see how they do this season.
Buy two, because your buddy will want one! Kevin
How much is he asking for them?
Best seat I'v ever used. It has opened my eyes to hunting from ground level. I've been a treestand guy for over 40 years.
Really like this seat. I'm a big guy, not as big as "Biggie", but big enough, and this seat made me part ways with my Double Bull blind seat. The Waldrop packs well with my Guille, and is easy to use.

Roger...just wondering if you are talking about the same seat as the rest of us?
Pack Seat....a seat that is a pack that you carry like a back pack and its folded about as flat as you can get. Just curious if you were talking about another seat.

Terry, Roger has difference taste than most folks. The last bow he got from me was a 54" Shrew Armstrong Ghost. It had a nice little 4 arrow EFA matching quiver to go with it. Roger didn't want the quiver, said it was too bulky on the bow...
So now you know what I mean when I say he's a little different......He does know a good bow when he sees one though... :D

Yep, I used Fred Asbells, he loaned it to me for a season. Don't get me wrong, it's a high quality, comfortable seat, and I like the fact that they were made in the USA. I just didn't like carrying it into the woods. Ron is right, I am a little bit of minalimist in the woods. Small haversack on one side, quiver on the other, and a short Shrew in hand. I like s smaller seat, or no seat at all. On property I have consistent access to, I stash milk crates in different spots. That way I always have a seat somewhere nearby.
I think on one of the earlier posts about the seat Roger said he loved it.....He must of had a change of heart or a bad experience. Hey , people change bows, arrows, clothing....why not seats...lol! I like mine!
I did say I loved it. But I found myself leaving it behind too much.
My opinion doesn't matter, lots of folks love them.
:goldtooth: Everybody's opinion matters.......

Actually, Roger walked back into Shrewhaven wearing it on his back. He said "does this make my 'behind' look big?" After that, he started leaving it behind. Such a sensative guy. :dunno: ;)
:biglaugh: :biglaugh: It's important to look good when in the woods.......

Actually he said, "does this make my butt look big" :readit:
Like I got the only big butt in camp.....
;)

I don't use mine much....but when I do...its the cat's meow....MUCH more comfy than a milk crate!!! :D
