Hi,
I was wondering what everybody thought of the wes wallace recurves, and if anybody had pictures they could post.
The ones on the website are not that good.
Thanks
Jeff
Don't have any pics but I was impressed with his bows. I've shot several of his recurves and liked all of them

A mentor was my one and only bow for many years and I used it to kill alot of game. I don't own it anymore as I traded it off just last month due to the 60# weight just being to much for my elbow. Very nice bows. Here's a few pics of it from when it was still mine. It wasn't built for me and did have someone elses name on it. Wes builds a very nice bow.

You won't find a recurve that shoots better.. There are some that are as good, but none better in my opinion.

I don't own one as yet, but have shot them and I think they are exceptional !
Didn't Wes build bows under Brackenbury ?
Night wing, you have the right kind of bow list.

Yes Jim,Wes and Norm Johnson all worked together at brackenbury until Jim died on the john day river.
The "Mentor" is dedicated to Wes's mentor, Jim Brackenbury.
I have a fine one piece Mentor for sale in the classifieds.
God's Peace
Nice looking bows!
Very nice looking bows!

I am wanting a recurve something fierce. I had narrowed it down to 2 now it is narrowed down to 3 I must try. Beautiful bows. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

That's funny! :D One thing is for sure, we don't have a shortage of high quality bowyers to choose from.....there really are a bunch of them.
Stump,
that is a dark and deadly looking bow, something about it shouts "lethal" what are the woods?
what was your wait time? Thanks
Its dymond action wood and Im not sure what the heck the center stripe is. Wes could tell ya. Im going fishing with him next week I'll ask him again what it is. as far as wait time he is about 6 months. He makes one heck of a bow. My son has a royal long bow from him as well Its a take down and dark woods as well with a real beaver tail grip. So perdy and it smokes an arrow as well.
Tha's one of THE most attractive grey diamond wood bows I've ever seen! Great color combination and finish. Congratulations! :clapper:
