All, Mostly a lurker but I am intrigued by the Hoyt Buffalo. It's a lot of dough however for a working stiff like me. I am curious to know if Hoyt, or perhaps a Hoyt dealer has a try before you buy program? I'd be a lot more comfortable with a high dollar purchase like that if I could spend a few meaningful days with it before I plopped down the cabbage....
Thanks in advance....

Not to my knowledge. You'll see them at the big shoots and most owners are delighted to let you shoot theirs.
I wish u lived closer I'd let ya shoot mine. I love it, I bought a 55#er wish it was a 50, cause it is adjustable I can get if from 51 at 28 all the way up to 58 at 28"s very nice to shoot and carry I had to sell my rezeen thats how I had enough money to buy it, thats how I got started in trad archery now I don't own anymore wheeled bows. I have 7 recurves and 6 long bows. some cheap some not so cheap but my Buff is my goto bow always Mike
I would assume a Hoyt dealer would let you shoot one if they had it, just like any other bow. They are pretty sharp and must be good shooters. The top two women and the man that won the shoot off at the Howard Hill Classic this last weekend were shooting them. Don't be fooled into thinking it was all the bow though, I could probably take those same bows and loose 12 arrows on 11 targets :)
