Yep....funny....I always get sad the day after the auction is over.....because of the fact that is is over. Its always a real fun couple of weeks watching you guys play. I'm gonna miss that yet again.....till next year.
Many threads take on a story, theme, life of their own, and its really a treat to follow them. To see men doing things together for the sake of sick kids and having a blast doing is a true blessing.
I want to thank everyone who participated in ANY way...donation, bidder, winner, poster.....I don't care what you did to help....just thanks a bunch. It means for than you will ever know. Thank each and every one of you.

Humbling just to be a part of TG which does this tremendous thing for these great kids. Like Doc says, (paraphrased) "kids should never have to suffer". You & others driving this effort have good right to be proud! Well done!
First time ever I looked into the auction. I'll have an item up in the next one!
:clapper:
Terry, thanks for all you do. I have been to St Judes during my peds rotation. I got to spend a great month there. Those kids are as brave as you can ever imagine, and I know the families really appreciate any and all the help Tradgang gives them. Thanks to you for this great site and to all the folks that helped with the auction :campfire:

A big thank you to all!
Darnit Mike..
You made me get somethin in my eye.
A child should never have to exhibit that kind of bravery.
Thanks to the mods who do the work behind the scenes to make this happen! :notworthy:
Thanks Terry for all you do. I'm sure that this event begins to make it all seem worth it to you.
I would like to thank all the Mods and participants! Great fun for a great cause!!!!
i chose this name because i am a huddle leader for our local f.c.a. ( fellowsip of chritian athletes ) and i think the f.c.a. "competitors creed"sums the auction up nicely wether your a believer or not. here it is:
"i give my all- all of the time
i do not give up. i do not give in.
i do not give out. i am the Lord's warrior-
a competitor by conviction
and a disciple of determination.
i am confident beyond reason
because my confidence lies in Christ.
THE RESULTS OF MY EFFORTS
MUST RESULT IN HIS GLORY."
i think everyone will agree that this auction for these kids, and everyone's efforts were indeed glorious.

The auction is the high point of late Spring (turkey and bear season not withstanding). Everyone associated with TG has, as always, done a marvelous job for the St. Jude Hospital. My hats off to all of you.

Yup. Post Auction blues...for sure. So much fun bantering and seeing all the exchange of teasing and jokes... with the undercurrent of doing something to extend a life limited child's hope of recovery thru St. Judes...
Priceless...

Yes, we all get the opportunity to have fun and bid on generous donations for a great cause. However, those admin and moderators spending all the time on this we can't begin to comprehend. A tip of the Shrewhaven cap to you guys.

Terry,
The letdown after achieving any goal is common. The best cure is to set another goal, like next year's St. Jude's auction!! A big THANK YOU to the moderators, volunteers, donors and bidders!
In addition to the good the donations do, just as powerful is the reminder that there are a lot of generous and caring people in the world and Tradgang has it's share of them. It is a renewal of faith and hope!
Cheers and a prayer of thanks to all those who had the ability and chose to make a difference this year, and a prayer for better circumstances next year for those who could not afford to do so this year due to financial or other difficulties.
