If you could just hunt one game animal, and only one for the rest of your life, what would it be? Mine would defiantly be a Turkey. How bout yours? Can't wait to hear this.. Thanks!!! God bless.
mine would be antelope. I love chasing them!
Just one is tough but I think it would be mule deer.
Just one? Whitetails,without a doubt!
That's a tough one.... I'm still trying to check them all off my wish list! lol As of right now, with the species I have hunted, it would be whitetails.
Just one more squirrel hunt with my Dad. I would give up all my future hunting days to have just one more with him.
pigs......every day if I could....
Yeah, It'd be whitetails for me aswell
Groundhogs!
For me it is ELK & only Elk!!!
Pigs... great taste, less filling!
Whitetails by far. I have never hunted elk but bet I could be hooked on them just as easy.
I ve hunted almost everything I have interst in and I will never be bored with whitetails
Hogs
Javelina
I have hunted a good number of North American Critters but I am with Joe on this one, whitetail never get boring.
Chris
Hogs and fish
Whitetails
Whitetails hands down.
Nothing like having a big bull moose coming to the call!!!
stickhorse, I'm with you
Wapiti
Open broken country mule deer, or maybe caribou when they're not migrating, wait, antelope in the Crooked Creek drainage if they ever come back in numbers.
Pretty much anything that's spot and stalk. Blinds and trees just don't interest me anymore.
If cash wasnt an issue. MoosE
Whitetails for sure.
Cape buff
I did a spot and stalk a few years back on them (training wheels), it was a blast.
Andy
I have hunted a good number of North American Critters but I am with Joe on this one, whitetail never get boring.
Chris
I'd have to go with whitetails too!
Bisch
Sure hope i dont ever have to pick just one. But,if i have to it would be hogs,no! Wait deer,no,man this is hard.Ok! I have it Elk,yep definitely Elk.Dang, thats hard. :knothead:
blacktails...
Elk. Without question elk. Antelope would be 2nd and id miss chasing em, but really even antelope aren't even close....
Elk, always and over and over!
Javelina. I love the Arizona desert.
Guy
plastic bag, scarecrow, pine cone :) or :(
Gotta be Whitetail. Always a great challenge. Sure would miss huntin turkey and mulies.
Elk
Sambar
Elk
It would certainly be the Whitetails. I never tire of hunting them.
Sambar
Kodiak Brown Bear...if I could only afford it
Been hunting whitetail for 45 years,I would hunt them another 45 years.
I live in the southeast. Started bowhunting whitetails with my dad at age 10. If I could just pick one, it would have to be them.
Another vote for pigs - year round, stalkable, and good tasting. Made for bowhunters!
Whitetails for me!
No question in my mind it's Elk.
ELK ELK ELK ELK ELK ELK
I would have to say hogs....too much fun, and the fact I'd get to hunt all year long!!!
Thats easy for me Turkeys.
ELK!
Without a doubt it is elk for me. The only downside is that it generally means only a couple of weeks each year.
If the decision involved considering the amount of time we get to hunt them in the fall, it would be tough to choose 2 weeks of elk versus months of hunting whitetails.
Please don't make me choose!
Though I'm a diehard whitetail hunter I would have to say mulies even though I've only done it twice. They provide the variety of habitats, multiple ways to hunt and the potential for something big that drive most hunters.
Moose without a doubt!
Whitetails everyday and all day without a doubt!!!
Elk
elk
ChuckC
Would have to be turkeys! All other hunting seasons are just to stay busy until then!
Whitetails only because such a long season to hunt. If not it would be Antelope!!
Randy said it all "ELK ELK ELK ELK ELK ELK"
I still want a good Whitetail but there is nothing like September and Elk for me....
High Country Mule Deer...If my body could handle it. Elk would be a VERY close second!
It would have to be hogs for me with whitetails a close second. With hogs though you can stand hunt or spot and stalk and the meat hogs are just as much fun as shooting a big boar.
Hogs.
No closed season. No restrictions. That means I can hunt day or night all year long whenever it's convenient.
You can spot/stalk, sit at a water hole, bait, or anything else.
Plus, I don't think we'll ever have to worry about their numbers dwindling.
Only one........it would have to be something without a season. I could hunt it [hogs?] everyday that I wished, when ever I wished. I guess this means I will have to move out of New York State....OK, sounds good!!!
elk. but elk would be second and then again elk would be third.
Without a doubt it'd be elk! It's what keeps me sane the other 11 months out of the year.
Travis
All though I love to hunt whitetails, I'm going to say Elk! I can't get enough of the Rocky mountains and there just isn't anything like a bugling bull.
Whitetails for me,great eating..............YUM
turkeys

Well said Sir! If they were just a little closer.....
I started to write elk, but then again I truly love matching wits with rutty nutty Blacktail bucks!
Bears. Nothing else like a big bear!
Just Elk! .....and I wouldn't feel like I was missing a thing.
No Fair Trick question. :knothead:
I would like to answer your question with another question.
If you put a man in a round room and tell him to pee in the corner..... ahh never mind.
I like deer and pigs but think I could get used to Goats, Moose and Elk.
Elk at or above timberline there is nothing else like it in my mind.
I'd have to say whitetails. I really don't hunt much of anything else.
In my area I'm pretty limited.
My dream animal is a huge red stag.
I'd love to hunt elk but they're not around.
Pigs sound like a blast but they're not around...yet.
I guess whitetails.
what Snakebit said!!
Whitetails, been hunting them for over 40 years and still love it. :archer:
Elk
I would have to say whitetails since they are the most abundant animal to hunt around me and I do enjoy them.
Mule Deer, Everywhere from Mexico to Canada.
Can't do just one ! Mule deer, Elk and Moose. Love em all !LOL
Coyotes. No season no limit 24-7
Javelina are my hands down favorite.
Hands down...Elk!

Ha!
It's a wonder you have any 'yotes left where you hunt with as many as you have killed with trad bows!
:notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
Elk, I love the country they call home.
Long season, next to home, challenging and beautiful -- whitetail deer.
I would give up all other hunting for ELK!!!! Widow
Its got to be the Red stag i fell in love with them at an early age hunting with my father.
Only one Whitetails!
Whitetails!!! They are fairly numerous, close by, challenging and they taste great!!
I have only gotten to hunt whitetail, coyote and turkey, however I think if $ wasn't an option, I would definitely say elk....no wait big old giant muleys! well, no...caribou :smileystooges: Maybe I need to hunt a few more species, so that way I can make a decision based on experience :archer2:
Tough question. I moved from NE 20 years ago so I could hunt many different big game species, besides whitetails.
My choice is the magestic mule deer, spot and stalk.
I do love to chase Whitetails. having said that, I've only hunted moose one time but I do believe I could get hooked on them big time. Just love the north woods and paddling a canoe around that moose water.
If I had to pick one it would be whitetails. But if I could pick one hunt a year.... I would give up whitetail hunting if I could hunt Africa every year.

Samber with out question just love every thing about them
Jim

I love to hunt whitetails and Turkeys about the same but nothing beats the feeling of being 10 yards from pigs...except maybe being 5.RC
