I would love to see it. Hope Big Jim chimes in on this.
Just about bid that one myself. Hope Jim see this, I would like to hear the story on this one.
I called to talk to Big Jim but he was getting around to go to a shoot I will get some pics up next week I did talk to a lady that she was not sure about it she did determan this bow must have been a early one made 2/11/01 it looks like a downsize Buffalo bow
TTT
pics?
I looked at one Jim had at a shoot sometime back, looks like a scaled down Buffalo Bow.
I will post pics soon as she gets here I was told it is a scaled down Bufflalo bow I got this to shoot those airal targets went out shot them that is just a blast
During the time I was ordering my 3 piece Buffalo,Jim and I had some great conversations. He mentioned to me a new bow he was thinking of.A shorter version of his Buffalo. He said I don't really know what to name her.I paused for a second and told him what about a Scout, you know the Buffalo scout. He laughed and said why the heck didn't I think of that! I guess Jim did use it!LOL
Is this the one that was just on the big auction site? I was going to bid on it,but it's a hair too light at my draw. If it is the one,it's a great looking little bow!
Well guys, I guess the cat is out of the bag and I wasn't even done skinnin that cat!
That bow in mention was the 1st of it's kind of in 2011. I have built several in the past and was kind of surprised how well they were received. Certainly nothing wrong with it, but I have no way of truly determining how well a 54" bow shoots except by feed back.
It is a scaled down version of my buffalo and is only available in a 54". It is (from what I'm finding out) a very good shooter for those guys with draw lengths shorter than 28"s and I would expect up to 28".
The Scout has a very short riser to give it an ample amount of working limbs. It won't be available in 2 piece because the riser is very small.
Thanks, BigJim ....and yep, Steve gets credit for the name.

The fellow I got this from was shooting at a 30" draw and was smoking the arrow. At m my 27" draw she super smooth and plenty fast hits where you look with ease. I shot this with 600 epics but my old carbon flash arrows they are 14-570 spine they will stack them right on top of each other Great job Big Jim! Love this bow great bow for shooting the arial targets hands down. I have never had a Thunderchild always wanted one but this bow is a sweetheart very happy to own this beauty THANKS BIG JIM THIS BOW WILL BE ANOTHER HOME RUN !!
With the short riser, is there a hanshock issue?
No hand shock even with my light arrows she dose shoot the 5575 at weight 486gr very well also
