Being one who loves to swap, trade and barter, I came home with a Bear Patriot longbow recently. Make no mistake, Hill styles are my preferred choice of longbow, but this Patriot really impressed me! Its smooth, pointable, and quick, even with heavy shafts. After hearing mixed reviews, i was a little apprehensive when i traded, but not any more! Bear has always been an industry leader in trad. archery and IMHO the Patriot longbow is no exception. :thumbsup:
i had one ,a 55#r, traded to a guy in kansas for turky huntin, he liked it alot,both bear and martin make a darn good bow.
