Title: Non-yellowing clear coat for wood arrows.
Post by: jonsimoneau on May 26, 2012, 08:10:00 PM
For all you wood arrow builders out there. Can anyone recommend a good clear coat that does not cause an arrow capped with white to yellow?  Most of the ones I have tried yellow. I did hear that min wax works well.

Minwax poly(comes in wipe on and works great0, or hardwood floor water based poly(used in a pvc made dip tube) will work also.

Any clear with Nitro Cellious in it will yellow. Check the label to be sure.
