What a stunner! :readit: :clapper:
Specs:
60" Nitro R/D Longbow - 52@28.
String - 8190 FF 12 strand padded in the loops
Riser - Walnut and Cocobolo
Limbs - Foam cores with carbon on backs and black glass on belly's.
The walnut came from www.Rosewoodarchery.com (http://www.rosewoodarchery.com) (Thanks Mike it is better than I imagined). The Cocobola was from Bill's shop. I can't thank you enough Bill for this fantastic piece of Coco.
Bow instantly got quiet when I got the brace height to 7-1/4" and with two sets of whiskers they won't hear whats coming. It really likes my Carbon Express 150's with a 50 grain brass insert and 175 grain field tips. She likes to be held with the weight of the draw in the throat of the grip and is shooting darts.
This is the first bow I have had a 8190 FF string on and I can already tell I really like it. With the D97 strings after twisting them up that tight they would continue to stretch for a long while. For two days now it hasn't stretched a bit from my original 7-1/4".
This is a typical Zipper and is smooth, fast, no shock and perfectly balanced.
LISTEN CLOSELY TJ! IF you ever decide you are sick of looking at this monster, you know how to get ahold of me.If you dont call me first...well I will be greatly disapointed.Dont make me sick Tracy on you.
Bill
What a looker!!!! That riser is gorgeous!!
A little background...Bill just sold his personal Nitro and is wheeping like a little school girl still. Ummmm Bill, you really don't need mine, you can make another you know.

What about the limbs FRED???
SWEEEET  Outstanding wood on riser :archer2:
Fred, Can you believe someone would order a riser like that then FORCE me (at broadhead point) to use black glass on the belly!SHEEESH
Very nice , they compliment the bow well!!
You cant let him off the hook that easy, Fred. :D I told Tom I had some very nice Myrtle in the shop I could use. :biglaugh:
I guess I'm just in a pot sturring mood today. :jumper:
Bill, I was trying to be diplomatic, I didn't want to be cruel and insult his taste for using black glass, but obviously he has none... if he did he'd at least have them skinned
Don't be offering him those myrtle lams, they are going to be striking with MY riser!!!!!
That a boy!! Tom loves it when you kick sand at him! :clapper:
Bill
I just had to give Tom one last jab before I admit that he made a great choice. The black glass was a perfect match with all the character in this riser.
Great choice Tom!
Bill
I can't afford fancy lams. You would think as close as Fred and I are he would have offered a set of the 18 beautiful Myrtle lams he has to a Brother.
:dunno:
The only thing that bothers me about this beauty Tom is that I didn't slow down long enough to test drive it at Baltimore. :banghead: :banghead:
I'm sure it will be seeing some treestand time this fall!
Stunning bow! Well Done Bill and Congrats TJ! :clapper:
Wow Tom, What a Freakin' Gorgeous Bow!! ...Very Nice Bill
It's not hard to tell a Zipper! Sweet looking bow.
Nice!
Nice looking zipper congratulations!
That is one sweet looking bow!  And if Bill doesn't want it put me next in line! I don't see you selling that bow though!
Bill, You did a good job with that walnut. There was alot to work with, and not much to work with at the same time. Very impressed with your work. Mike

What LeftyFred is talking about is this walnut had quiet a few cracks in it Bill had to painstakingly fill with CA glue. He was skeptical at first if it would even work and hold up to being strong enough. He pulled it off though much to my appreciation!
I think we need a drooling Graemlin!!!!!
Bill, It looks like Momma is going to let me go on my hunt!!! I'll call you later in the week! So get to looking for some purty stuff for my Nitro!!!
Beautiful bow Tom...Bill brought it all together nicely.
I can see that bow in a hero pic with you this fall behind yet another of those great bucks you seem to stumble onto each year :knothead:
Black glass? :p
Realy nice.
Jake, all jokes aside. I really like the black limbs with any wood combo. My Cheyenne has black glass on the limb bellies so I knew I would like it. Its funny but the limbs being plain really make the riser stand out more. These two woods in the riser had so much going on my thought was with even more going on in fancy limbs it would be too much and distracting!
As a website guy photos, graphics or whatever you want to be the subject really stands out (or "POPS" as an old boss used to say) when they are on a plain black background. Here is an example of what I am trying to say. Look at the difference in these picts.

Very nice bro, I got to see it at Baltimore the pics don't really do any justice!!
Great pics Tom! I knew you'd zero it in once you got it home.
Enjoy!
I thought I recognized that riser, but I remembered it as having more grain. Real feather crotch walnut that the pics didn't catch. Yes, you sure got a stunner, almost enough that I could be tempted into buying a take-down.
If it weren't for that black glass... JK! I think that was the right choice as well.
Killdeer
You need to take pics of your entire collection sometime! She's a looker!
Tom,
What are your thoughts on the NItro?
I just shot one and it is a rocket launcher!
Great stuff KTJ re the new beaut! That first pic is awesome good! Zip needs that on his website.
Wow, what a nice Zipper TJ!!
TJ can you bring it to Compton's since BILL won't be there? :banghead: That walnut and coco combo is fantastic!
Super Bow - Congrats!
Nice one! I have been wanting to try one out for some time.

Charlie, you are right. My arrows are really spitting out of it. I need to chrono it next to my SXT recurve. They are the exact same poundage and that would be something worth knowing.

I agree, I would love to know how those numbers shake out. The NItro I shot was 5 pounds more than my SXT longbow, but it was much faster.
When I was still working out the design of the Nitro. I spent quite a bit of time messing with it on my shooting machine. In the end the Nitro was within 1/2 of a fps of the same weight Evolution recurve limbs. Both were carbon and foam.
Thanks Bill, you saved me a 40 mile drive to the chrono and back to the wheelie shop.
Bill, thanks for the info.
Nice bow TJ,I like black glass too.
I shot my Nitro through the chrono today. My findings were the same as Bill's. It was within 1-2 fps of my SXT.
Bill
Thanks Bill. I shot my new broadheads from the Nitro last night. Wow this combo is working great. Other than my Centaur this is the first longbow I have gotten along with well. The performance from these limbs is amazing.
I'm impressed with the performance as well. I shot broadheads the other day and they shot great as well. I think Bill put a little extra "MOJO" in ths bow !!! :D
Bill
Great looking bow Bill. I really need to get down there and try one out.
