Post by: gwhunter on August 01, 2007, 07:47:00 AM
Possibly Hunting near Waldon, CO this September.  Is there anybody to call in that area to pack out an elk?

Just go down to the little store up the road at cowdry I,m sure they could line you up. I used a pack frame and do it one piece at a time.

I have found a fantastic tool for packing out animals, called the Leep Pack, made by some guys here in Oregon.  A soft pack, folds up to about 8"x3" approx, you can throw it in your daypack, and it will easily pack out an elk quarter.  Not sure of their website, but its a great product and it works!
