Are the Climax stands currently unavailable ??

YES. Climax are available. Do a google for them. I thought they were in North Carolina? Last time I talked with them they had 500 stands ready to ship.

I am not familar with the Climax stands, are they climbers or ladder stands? I'm looking for a couple of 17 - 20 ft ladder stands for bow hunting. I have a few but they are starting to rust thru and need replacing...The ones I have are 7 years old and are 20' Loggy Bayou with flip up seats.. they are no longer made. I leave them out all year for hog hunting and The Florida weather has not been nice to them, but 7 years is pretty good for a treestand. Another N.C. treestand company, BuckShot and Equilizer is making a come back, I hear they will be built in the USA in N.C.!!
Boy that was two years ago when Gary found them in NC.
